Settling in for "

(OOC: Addison has to stay in the domicile during the event for the beast, so I figured he could have his own thread in case others were staying as well. Figured it could start before the event though. He is giving himself a "me" weekend of movies and the like.)

Addison fished his custom door plate out from his bag. He'd had this custom made for him, in dark cherry wood with black lettering spelling out his name. He liked the computerized aspects of his entry ok, but felt he could use something that made it feel more like...a place where he lived versus slept. The red head pulled his hair back into a ponytail before setting about the task of affixing the name plate to his door securely. No where in the rules did it say it wasn't allowed....

There....Addison stood back, in the middle of the hallway to admire his work. Perfectly straight and it looked good on his door. Addison pulled one foot out of his slipper to tug down the other pant leg. He was no carpenter, but simple tasks were a-ok.

(OOC: Feel free to say howdy. He's out in his slippers and jeans and a shirt in the middle of the hall right now)

Addison hopped up and headed into the kitchen just as Jan was leaving. He watched the young looking male leave before fixing Alexandra's wine for her. The red head suddenly wished he'd remembered his own glass to top off. Oh well...that was fine. Too much and he got sleepy and he probably shouldn't in this company. Although, he was in clan territory, so he should be perfectly safe. Absynthe seemed very nice and this new woman...could be as well.

"Here you go, Alexandra." he took his seat again and smiled. "New to Tach?"
Alexandra 18 years ago
" Welcome to the clan. Let me know if you need any assistance getting settled."

Looking up Alex studied the woman who spoke to her for a moment, nodding her head a small smile crept upon her lips, it didn't reach her eyes, she didn't trusth anyone that easily.

"Thank you"

"Here you go, Alexandra." he took his seat again and smiled. "New to Tach?"

Taking her glass from Addison she gave him another smile, inhaling the scent of the wine she closed her eyes for a moment before taking a small sip, letting the rich red liquid move around her mouth she let is touch all her tastebuts for opening her eyes back up.

"Thank you, this is a really nice wine and yes I just got here thoday to be exact, still trying to find my way around"

Pausing she took another small sip of her glass before putting it down on the table in front of her, turning back to Addison she moved a lock of hair behind her ear.

"How about you?"

Addison finished his wine, thinking of how to answer properly. He was Tach, but not a tach vampire...but he still counted as a member, or at least he thought. "I've been here a few months. I am the CFO over at Dubine and familiar belonging to Ellis." It seemed that the practice saying that out loud in front of the mirror helped. And he didn't want any more slip ups with other vampires.

"Have you met with her yet?" He knew they had some sort of club activity coming up that night, so maybe not yet...

(OOC: Ack - I could have sworn I posted this earlier...)

Absynthe swirled the wine in her glass before taking a sip. It had long been a habit of hers to nurse a drink over an extended period of time. It was always good to let one's companions have a few more drinks to each one of yours. Assasinations tended to go much smoother this way.Looking over at the cute young red head she smiled.

" Familiar is it? Well snacking is out, but what about insincere flirting?"

With that, she gave Addison a wink and blew him a kiss. Absynthe looked over at the television for a moment. Louis was whiney and Lestat was looking moronic. Yep the middle of the movie was pretty much like the first. Returning her attention to the others, she answered Addison's question.

" I myself have not had the occasion to meet her. Unfortunately I will not be able to at the coming gathering. I will not be attending the event as I will be otherwise occupied."

Listening to Addison speak, Alex nodded her head a few times indicating she was listening to his story, when he mentioned being a familiar her eyes widened slightly, picking up her glass she took another small sip, twisting the stem inbetween her fingers she shifted her eyes as Absynthe began to speak to him.

"My my isn't she the flirt"

Raising her glass to her lips she smirked behind it inhaling the flavour of the wine before setting it back down, turning to Addison she softly spoke.

"So you're human.. that has to be strange living among so many vampires"

Raising an eyebrow she let her tongue dart out for a moment wetting her lips, as she did her left fang was clearly visible, she would never hurt Addison she knew how the whole familiar thing worked, watching him her eyes darkened.

Someone once told her, her eyes were so dark brown they appeared black, at times the pupil wasn't even visible, especially when she was hungry or angry, right now it was the first, realizing it had been some time since she last ate she took a deep breath before getting up.

"If you two will excuse me, Addison it was nice to meet you"

Turning to Absynthe she nodded towards the other woman.

"Nice meeting you too, see you both around"

Exiting the room she headed up, looking for a snack.. something warm and red

" Familiar is it? Well snacking is out, but what about insincere flirting?"

Addison cracked a rare smile. "Flirting always welcome." He flashed an answering wink, feeling a little of the wine loosening him up. That, and he was in a room with beautiful women...sure each of them could rip him apart and/or drain him dry, but that wasn't mattering at the moment. He had protection from ellis.

"So you're human.. that has to be strange living among so many vampires"

"It's a learning experience. And to be honest, if I look at someone, I still can't tell the difference right off...." He was referring to the Nic incident, but they wouldn't know that.

"If you two will excuse me, Addison it was nice to meet you"

"A pleasure to meet you as well." The red headed accountant stood as the other woman left and then took his seat again.

" I myself have not had the occasion to meet her. Unfortunately I will not be able to at the coming gathering. I will not be attending the event as I will be otherwise occupied."

"You'll have to find the occassion. She's...quite the person." Ooh...silly smile on his face. He hoped it wasn't out of place for a familiar.

Absynthe watched Angelica leave. True that wasn't the girl's name, but it was also true that Absynthe had no particular reason to remember it. Addison on the other hand was the familiar to Ellis. Ellis in turn was the provider of all the lovely poisons that she got play with on a daily basis. It would stand to reason then that Addison would be quite the useful human to know. With a bemused expression she turned to Addison and gave an exagerated sigh.

" It seems that I am scaring all your guests away. And I didn't even consider pinching her on the ass. I really should start getting the pinching in earlier before the prey has a chance to escape."

Finishing the last of her wine, Absynthe smiled at her host before excusing herself long enough to take the glass to the kitchen. She did not return to her seat, knowing that she too had things to take care of.

" As much as I would love to stay and oggle his whineness with you, I am afraid I really must go. I have a cauldron brewing and a broom that needs mending. A girl's work is never done."

Remembering the boldness of his earlier wink, she gave him another one before walking out the door. Addison would be quite fun to play with when he was eventually turned. That was assuming Ellis didn't decide to drain him instead.

OOC: Absynthe out.

Addison smiled up at Absinthe before she left. He stretched out languidly on the couch before getting up and shutting his door...rouding into the kitchen to grab the bottle of wine. He might as well finish it off and get some good rest in in the process...
