Personal Questions
1. Describe your character's personality

Danielle is kind at heart and laughs easily. She is something of a caretaker and gets a great deal of happiness out of doing little things like bringing a sick person a meal or remembering a birthday card for a lonely coworker. She likes people and enjoys listening; she spends slow time at work reading blogs and journals online or talking to her coworkers.

Danielle is emotional and compassionate, though she can become quite agitated when she sees injustice. She could be described as "earthy"Â?; there is little about the natural world that bothers her. One might call her a free spirit.

2. Describe how your character would appear to a stranger (I.E. typical dress, way they carry themselves etc.)

Danielle is small and slight with large blue eyes and short dark brown hair. She has a splash of freckles across her nose during the summer and while she doesn't make an effort to sunbathe she does get somewhat darker from being out of doors biking, hiking, and camping. She is fit and healthy and walks with an energetic bounce to her step.

She generally wears a conservative tailored blouse and skirts of various hemlines depending on her mood. She is something of a shoe horse and wears a variety of styles depending on the season. On her off time she prefers Birkenstocks in every shade or ballet flats and tends toward 'relaxed' fashions.

3.What does your character like?

Pumpkin scented candles, fresh fruit, dogs, nobility, passionate people (even if she disagrees with them), sincerity, ambition, the color green, nature

4. Dislike?

Apathy, prejudice, brutal people

5. (For humans) Describe what abilities you see your character having if they were turned.

Agility, Sending

6. What are your fears?

Disillusionment. Failure, letting people that count on her down, forgetting what's important.

7. What are your character's strengths and weaknesses?

Danielle has an admirable faith in her fellow man and refuses to become discouraged and jaded. While this is a good outlook for her, some would consider her somewhat gullible and naïve. She is accustomed to being able to accomplish whatever she sets out to do, which gives her an easy confidence. However, failures and disappointments are not handled well. She is highly organized when left to her own devices, though this becomes more difficult when she is not in control of how things are set up. She is brave to a fault.

Hobbies & Skills

Danielle likes to keep abreast of current events; reading the paper, listening to talk radio on her drive home, discussing issues on political forums and in coffee shops, volunteering for or donating to causes and campaigns she believes in, and keeping CNN and CSPAN going in the background are all part of her arsenal of information. Furthermore, she keeps an eye on the business world as well and is something of a day trader. As such, she is articulate and well informed. She also knows her way around a computer.

Her degree is in Political science with a minor in economics and she ran track in college, where she did moderately well.

Because she believes in environmentally sound practices, she is an adept biker.

She has the ability to land in either the woods or a foreign country and hit the ground running and is not easily made uncomfortable by cultural barriers.

Cosmetic Traits(These must be minor, see the rules)

Has a birthmark that resembles a splash of ink on her wrist and a small mole just behind her right ear.

Quirks and Habits worthy of mention

Danielle talks with her hands; waving them when she gets excited, using them to cover her mouth when she is upset, putting them on her hips when annoyed, and punctuating her statements with any number of gestures.

Personal History (Please be detailed, this creates your basis for your character)

Danielle's parents raised her to believe she could do anything, and she never let go of that idea as she progressed through life. She was the type of child who would tell someone she wished to be an astronaut, a ballerina, a doctor, and The President of the United States when asked what she wanted to be when she grew up. She was an outspoken young woman and was quite willing to assert what she wanted to do at an early age. The fact that what she wanted to do so closely resembled what her parents expected of her escaped her notice entirely until she volunteered at a local homeless shelter in her sophomore year of high school.

Community service would look wonderful on her college applications, after all, and a letter of recommendation would just be an added bonus. She showed up every Friday afternoon after school and was willing to give up teenage prime time to help out; surely a college would take that into consideration.

The trouble was, she realized she was starting to count up the hours until she was "done"Â? helping out. It was like this shelter thing was part of some mental checklist of obligations without any value in its own right; a means to an end.

And that wasn't who she wanted to be. Oh, she still wanted to be successful...but what the hell was she doing?

Normal enough questions for a teenage girl in transition, and as always finding answers was a process. Danielle did not become an activist overnight by any means, and it took some serious growing up before she started to strike a balance between compassion and action. She gives a great deal of credit to that shelter, though, where she continues to volunteer regularly.

She was, however, at the prime of her confidence, assured that she was going to change the world, when she went in for an internship interview at Meridian in her senior year of college. She liked the company's reputation, and while she didn't believe she'd want to say there forever, feeling there were bigger things in her future, she felt she could make a good contribution there.

Little did she know when she passed through Meridian's doors that she was walking in on what could be the biggest thing in human history. A race of people living side by side with humans, trying to establish a lifestyle of cooperation and understanding. Helping out with that cause wasn't a hard sell for Danielle at all; in fact, this was exactly what she was looking for.
