Character Theme songs

Anyone else have theme songs they hear for different characters, or certain music they play while writing their own characters?

For Cyn I hear Darling Nicki, originally by Prince and covered by the Foo Fighters; yeah, it's about a girl, but fitting. If I'm thinking about it I change the words in my head so it's about a boy .

For Ellis, probably Battle Flag by Lo Fidelity Allstars and Evil Angel by Rufus Wainwright most often. Battle Flag is a good song for the Tachs .

For Simon, I'd say probably the Mouth remix by Bush.

Don't have anything specific I can recall for Talon, though he gets teh Metal .

Thaddeus varies; he actually seems to like the Beatles, John Lennon stuffs, and more surprisingly Pink Floyd...not stuff I'm omg super fans of, but *shrugs*. I call him a dirty hippie, bickering ensues, it's very funny. Anyway...yeah I'm crazy...anyway, lots of Rufus Wainwright going on for him as well. Across the Universe by The Beatles when he's feeling good.

Mae sent me a song called Bad Brother, which I find helps a lot for getting The Wolf down on paper.

emo means you have long bangs. Also I think you're a boy that looks like a girl and wear tight girl pants.

Indeed, it seems to be more a figure of speech than anything concrete.

I am told, however, that Elliott Smith is considered emo; here is one of my favorites by him that strickes me as very Kem and Aishe:

Think overly emotional, depressed, teen angst and clothing.. lots of drama for the sake of drama in most cases.

So for Addison at the moment would the theme be "Dude looks like a lady?"

Oboy. This could take a few minutes.

Ellis = Lecher Bitch by the Genitorturers...kind of stuck while playing through Bloodlines recently. Work 01 by Front 242 works as well, for obvious reasons.

Simon = The Grudge by Tool really sums up his situation. Red Right Hand works as well.

Nova = Nirvana, of course, though selecting a single song is rough.

Jan = Satan is my Motor, since he's never up to any good...but sometimes it isn't obvious.

Amberelle = Counting Flowers on the Wall summed up our thread nicely.

Shay = Open Book works for Shay...but there's gotta be something closer.

Mathias = Religion by Front 242, overall.

And for Alec...well, Loser, by Beck. Errr...waitaminute...I mean Intruder. Cool thread, thanks for bumping it!

For Absynthe I think "Paint it Black" by the Rolling Stones

For Artemis, "Who wants to Live Forever" by Queen fits his serious side. Not sure about his less than serious side.

EDIT: Alfarinn and I came up with the perfect Artemis song. Weird Science. Though I do not know who it is by.

It is a Thai thing… Siamese thing… Pak has a tendency to sing One Night in Bangkok at me but I’m sure there is something better.

She’d is smiling –far- to innocently but is suggesting Artemis might like to consider

Claire likes most flute music and ocean sounds but I'm not sure I have a theme song for her yet.

Weird Science is by Oingo Boingo btw.

One night in Bangkok is a neat song even if most people have no idea what its about and where its from. (not that I'm suggesting you don't just know that from past experience with it on the radio in college.
