Continued from That was a just a love tap, yo

It was +14 hours time difference from the United States eastern seaboard to Canberra, Australia. Vivienne considered this as she spun slowly in Lewis' communications chair down in the Pipers Situation Room.

Hammer and Brig were finally reconnecting as cousins and best friends again; something Viv knew her father would want to know about, considering that had been her first priority coming to Nachton. It had been just over two months since coming to town and she took a moment to reflect on what had happened since her arrival.

Brig was first and foremost in her mind; their chance meeting and subsequent fiery affair. Her spinning coming to a stop, she stared up at the blank monitors and wondered if their love had helped or hindered her job's progress. It had given her a chance for them to focus on something other than their fight - a mutual problem, granted with Brig it had been surface only, although she wasn't sure why she never pushed the issue of Hammer and his past transgressions in private with Brig. Viv had been selfish in that regard, she wagered. Ultimately things were back on track, right as rain, superfine.

Looking around the quiet Situation Room, Viv wondered at the echoing silence without the Pipers on duty. Brig had run them hard, working double shifts, prowling the Pack's perimeter, during an otherwise extremely quiet Fall. They were currently on a well deserved break and had disappeared into the city. 2010 had been without any explosions, but did have a vampire incident and run in with a rival VR pack. The Alpha should have considered himself lucky that Hammer and Brig had not been at odds during the run in at the Reserve. Viv saw the reports - the CO and Beta able to hold twelve Vyusher R'asa's at bay with their innate strengths. Viv wished she had been there to see that kind of control. She had only seen that type of power with Duncan and Vigo; two weres that were at the tail end of their prime. Alone their power preceded them, but together they were legendary. That was what the fathers wished for their sons.

Brig reminded Viv of Duncan in that their resemblance to each other was uncanny. Whether their personalities were similar, Viv would not know, what with the very little she knew about Duncan. She could only recall one occasion where she had the chance to see Vigo and Duncan alone, without the trappings of their positions to hinder their friendship and filled to the gullet with whiskey. Duncan's smile was as easy as his son's, twice as charming, if possible, but you'd never know it seeing the Elder Jameson in public. Brig was a younger carbon copy of his father - startling blue eyes, reddish brown hair peppered liberally with gray, tall as the day was long, with strong arms, broad shoulders, and calloused fingers.

Vigo had a slightly more slender build than his only son, but they shared the same rigid jaw line, piercing gray eye, and savagely scared left eye socket. Her father kept his hair long enough to comb back and never lost any of its lustrous sheen or thickness, even as the reddish auburn hair was more salt than pepper. Vigo was imposing, his posture ramrod straight, and his arms still cannon like. Silver scars destroyed the prints of his fingertips and lined his palms like a worn map, but they were gentle and caring on Viv's shoulders, and for every hard line of the Elder Hammerthynn there was, a softness enveloped his heart that no one but his wife has ever been privy to. Viv knew she only saw the shadow of that impossible love and it was more than she could have ever asked for in a father.

Smiling to herself, Viv thought of her father in the twilight of his life - stoic, strong, and brighter than the sun.

The monitor in front of her came to life with an incoming call and Vivienne immediately sat forward and connected to it. Her father's face filled the screen, which was enough to scare grown men, but warmed Vivienne to her core. Holding her hand out to the screen, she touched her father's face and smiled.

"What? You're not my Russian mail order groom. What a rip off," she joked with a huge smile.

"Vivienne," Vigo said smiling at her.

Vigo leaned back exposing a boardroom like office with a long table filled with empty chairs save one. Her father sat on top of the table and crossed his arms.

"Elder Jameson," Viv said with a respectful nod to the man who was seated halfway down the table, his rugged boots propped up on the table. Both men were dressed in casual khakis and button up shirts, but Duncan always knew how to make casual wear look sexy. "Pleasure, sir."

Duncan gave her a side-look as he leaned back in the chair with his hands behind his head. He nodded to her silently and looked back at his brother-in-law. "Vivienne," he said politely.

"Hope the trip back to Canberra was agreeable," Viv started as she crossed her legs, smoothing her cashmere gray, above the knee dress down her bare legs. She relaxed into the chair and smiled.

"We're not in Canberra," Vigo said looking at Duncan. "We're in Glenveagh."

Viv let the confusion color her expression since there was no point in hiding it, "You're in Ireland?"

"Apparently it was on the way," Duncan said in a monotone voice.

Vigo softly snorted and continued. "We're with the holding Pipers on the Pack's property. Are you done with your reviews?"

"Still haven't talked to Steyn, but I've met with the rest of them. The Commander and Beta included."

"Why aren't you done?" Duncan asked, pulling his feet down and leaned toward the camera. "What have you been doing for two months?"

'Your son,' didn't seem like a suitable reply, so Viv went with the next best answer. "I've been shadowing them. Gave me an opportunity to see any fault lines within the miscommunication between the CO and Beta. It was...enlightening."

"Explain," Vigo said.

"Initially the Pipers were not told about my...."

"Pedigree?" Duncan asked sourly.

Viv blinked slowly so not to roll her eyes at the Elder Jameson. "Aye, sir. It came out during one of the sparring exercises and leadership could not control them."

"That bad?" Duncan asked, running his hands through his thick hair.

"It was, yes. They've since resolved their issues, but I couldn't guess at how far the ability has disintegrated. Loyalty is strong, though, and the men are mentally healthy - I don't foresee any future complications."

"So the remaining Pipers?"

"Right as rain, I'd say."

"Even Steyn?" Duncan asked.

Viv thought for a moment, considering the old man and his obvious issues. "I think Hammer recruiting him into the Pipers was a wise choice."

"How so?" Vigo asked, leaning forward onto his hands.

"Mr. Steyn has the uncanny ability to...blur the lines, as it were. He remains loyal to his genetic family, but is extremely helpful when the need arises with his new family. Leadership trusts him and he's earned it."

Viv explained the situation with the attack on the Alpha and his hunting team and then Steyn's subsequent assistance with identifying the vampire by utilizing his contacts with his vampire grandfather. She neglected to mention the blood memory questions - why ruin the surprise, she figured.

"Talk to him as soon as possible," Vigo said standing. "We'll be on our way with the Alpha's two replacement Pipers. We'll finish their training personally and see you no later than 15 November."

"Wait, what?" Vivienne swallowed quickly, trying not to look as panicked as she was feeling - which was a-fucking-lot. "You're both coming to Nachton?"

"That a problem, Vivienne?" Elder Jameson said as he stood and tucked the back of his shirt back into his khakis.

"No, sir," she gave the Elder a flirty grin, "but it barely gives me time to line up the hookers and 8-balls. A girl's gotta plan, sir." Viv couldn't resist smiling into the monitor as Vigo rolled his eye and Duncan clenched his jaw. "Bring a jacket, it's a wee chilly."

Vigo turned and looked at Duncan who nodded and left the room without anything further to Vivienne, not that she expected him to say goodbye - the Elder Jameson made a point to keep his distance from Vivienne. Plausible deniability, she figured. Duncan never went out of his way to be rude, just...unemotional. His reaction to her relationship with Brig was not something she was looking forward to experiencing. When they were alone, Vigo approached the monitor, filling it up again.

"How are you doing, dear?" The edge in Vigo's voice had completely disappeared. He sighed and smiled at her, "I've missed you."

It still made her chuckle, hearing Vigo be so sweet when no one knew him as anything but heartless. Good lord, she missed him. "I could have handled Canada for you, dad," she said softly.

Vigo waved his hand dismissively, "That needed our presence. It's done, don't worry about it."

Viv considered the new Alpha Michaels and shrugged. "I've evaluated Stephan...he won't let it go."

Her father pushed back his shoulders, assuming his Elder role and merely snorted. "Let him come." There was a promise in that statement that Viv had seen Vigo make good on. He was old, yes, but not weak.

"Your grandson will want to talk to you about the old Alpha, by the way. Not exactly protocol."

Vigo shrugged, "All we did was talk to him." An impish smile tugged at the corners of his mouth.

"Cuz you and Duncan aren't super scary as a team, not at all." Nodding, Viv tipped her head to the side and looked at her father. "See you in about a month then?"

"Looking forward to it." Silently, he asked, as always, "Forgive me?" Vigo's voice was full of sincerity and love.

"Always." Together they raised their hands to the monitor; Viv touching hers and giving her father a sweet smile. "Like father."

"Like daughter," he replied with an equally emotional voice. "See you soon."

Vigo cut the transmission without any further word, leaving Viv to sit back in her chair and consider what was next.
Brig Jameson 13 years ago
Brig wore his uniform today, even though it was, for the most part, a down day for the Pipers. They were off the rest of the week, but someone had to be around just in case and it gave him an opportunity to stay close to Viv without prying eyes.

He was reading through his emails, despite what Vivienne thought, and finished up earlier than he thought when his computer signaled an incoming call. Moving his mouse, he was about to click on it when it was answered in the Situation Room. Lewis wasn't on duty, but it had to be Hammer. Standing, Brig turned off his computer, straightened his desk, and then exited.

The Situation Room and Piper domain was located underneath the main floor of the Den. It had controlled access and sound proof meeting rooms; tactical, communications. Everything they needed to keep an eye on the property and possessed the ability to utilize the city's main frame. Definite upgrade from what they had in Johannesburg.

Brig moved through the corridors that led to the Situation Room, hearing first the voice of his father and then Vigo's. Vivienne was speaking to them, relaying her report of the Pipers, nothing he hadn't read from her own reports. He was surprised to hear his father's tone with her; short, but not rude...just indifferent. His father was that way publicly, although that wasn't how Brig remembered his father growing up.

Brig definitely was his father's son. He remembered his father's outrageous personality and his love for his wife and kids. Duncan was, as all Jamesons, a loving and affectionate father. When Duncan assumed his father's role as Elder, things did change, but not in private. Duncan still was the same boyish, funny, and raunchy son-of-a-bitch that Brig found himself emulating as a man. When his father was with Elder Hammerthynn - he was all business, sharp as a knife's edge, and an imposing leader. He and Vigo, together, were unstoppable and there was never a fight for Alpha status. They were the Elders, equal in everything. Period. Brig hoped the same for him and Hammer when it was their time.

Suddenly Duncan's voice was gone. Brig leaned against the wall leading to the Situation Room and listened as Viv spoke to Vigo. What he heard shocked the hell out of him. Brig had to strain to make sure the soft and loving voice actually belonged to his Uncle Vigo. He could hear the affection in both their voices, especially Vivienne's. He could hear the ache of separation in her voice - not as a lover but definitely from a daughter to father. There was no mistaking it. Brig moved back toward his office to give them their privacy for another minute before entering the room.

November 15th seemed to be the estimated time of arrival for both his father and uncle and Brig would be getting his replacement Pipers. Slowly walking back, he heard Vivienne stand, turning off the connection. Turning the corner he cleared his throat, getting her attention just as she turned and looked at him. Their scents mingled together, hers reaching him at the same time. Her body language had been tense but softened as did his.

"Hey," he said softly.

Encountering Brig's scent aroused her immediately; it made her wonder if it would be that way when they were older. It surprised her to think of them still together in their old age after only knowing him barely 2 ½ months, but seeing him leaning against the wall, smiling at her the way he does, she could not imagine life without him now.

"Hey yourself," she said, relaxing her body and letting gravity pull at her curves. God had the good graces to give her rather round curves and she appreciated them, as did Brig by the look he was giving her. His reward was Viv rolling her hip out and clasping her hands behind her back. "I didn't know you were here."

"I was reading my emails," he said, accenting the last word as he pushed off the wall and walked slowly to her. His eyes looked at her from head to toe, taking in her appearance slowly. She met him halfway, her hands still behind her back and smiled up at him. "So Duncan and Vigo are coming."

Nodding she turned her head toward the monitor and then gave him a wry grin, flicking her eyes back at him.

"I was listening," he said.

"I believe the term is eavesdropping."

Brig inhaled, rolling his eyes up at the ceiling. "Well, yes....actually I thought you were Hammer."

"Uh huh," she gave him an admonishing look, but Viv wasn't too concerned with what he overheard. Pointing at him, she asked about his emails. "Did you actually read my last email? Domingo's report?"

Brig's eyes widened a bit and she watched his adam's apple rise and then fall. "Yes I did."

"Oh come on, you did not." Viv whined, slumping her shoulders.

Brig tucked his hands into the pockets of his uniform trousers and took a step back. "You know, I'm not sure I actually got it."

Viv watched him warily, her eyes narrowing at him as he stepped back toward the corridor leading to his office. "Seriously, your office. Right now?"

He turned the corner, giving her that side-look she could not resist. Rolling her eyes, she walked toward the hallway and followed him. Brig grabbed her by her waist and picked her up, pushing the hem of her dress up so her legs could wrap around his narrow hips.

"You goober!" she laughed as he carried her down the hall.
Brig Jameson 13 years ago
Brig couldn't help but openly look at Viv from head to toe as she met him in the middle of the room. One foot planted in front of the other accented her curvy hips like she knew it would. She wore a gray wrapped dress that pinned on the side just about her left hip. The material clung tightly to her small frame and left little to the imagination. In fact, he was fairly certain she was not wearing a bra, at least, he saw no lines underneath the soft looking material. Wool, maybe? Possibly cashmere, but he knew enough about fashion to know that cashmere didn't grow on trees, or the matching espadrille peek-a-boo toe wedge heels she was wearing. Brig wanted to touch the material, to see if it was soft as the skin beneath it.

No one was down in the Piper's lair and wouldn't be for at least a couple more hours. Hammer might be off property, but with the Pipers dismissed, there'd be no real reason for him to come down when he could just call Brig, now that they were back on speaking terms. They were alone.

"Seriously, your office. Right now?" Viv said, not altogether convincing with her interested tone.

Brig backed up to the corridor and then took the corner, his eyes on her till he passed the wall. He waited just a few inches from the edge, and within seconds Viv was there, following him. He reached out and grabbed her waist, lifting her up into his arms. His left hand went immediately to the hem of her dress, pushing it up to free her legs so they could wrap deliciously around his hips. She laughed, her lips hovering over his as he felt the warmth of her breath on his mouth. Quickly he walked down to her office carrying Viv close to his body, the material as soft as he imagined.

"What if someone..." Viv asked breathlessly.

"Shhh," he murmured, pressing his mouth on the underside of her jaw. Viv gasped softly as she pressed the side of her face against his, her body relaxing into his embrace yet her legs tightened around his waist; the friction encouraging him. He pushed inside his office and then reached out, slamming the door behind them. Wasting no time, he backed her up against it, pressing his body against hers. The soft sounds of her arousal made him dizzy, but when she reached down between them and started to pull at his belt, he readjusted her on his hips and looked down to watch her delicate hands. In no time she had his uniform trousers unbuttoned and pushed out of the way. Brig ran his hands up the backs of her thighs and discovered why there were no pantie lines.

Pulling back, Brig ran his lips up her jaw and across her mouth, capturing her lips with his. Lifting her slightly, he roughly found her center and pushed up into her, making her cry out in surprise. His thrusts were forceful and ached with delicious pain. Viv unwrapped her legs and bent them, forcing him to reach down and around to carry her weight on the inside of his forearms while grabbing her ankles that were bent up so her feet were almost flat on the door. He began to bounce her on top of him, making her moan almost painfully, but squeezed her thighs around his hips to encourage him to continue. Then she began to flex, practically milking him.

Brig gasped and paused for a moment at the exquisite feeling of her; she moaned a throaty laugh into his ear, licking it with the tip of her tongue. Her arms were tight around his neck and she pulled at his uniform jacket, ruining the sharp creases of his collar. His arousal skyrocketed, making him grind hard against her as he pressed her against the door. She began to gasp his name, begging him to slow down.

Brian, she said. Brian please, she begged, certainly not asking him to stop.

Bearing down, he pushed harder into her, grinding her center as she unmercifully flexed around him, putting such insane pressure that his head felt dizzy and his core aching to burst. Brig bit at her neck, wincing at the amazing pain as she dug her nails into him through his clothes. With each hard thrust Brig felt her flex as hard as he had ever felt her manage, and the more she did it, the harder he pushed up inside of her, his fingers undoubtedly hurting her and his teeth leaving marks on her beautiful brown skin.

Brig could not help himself and he began moaning her name, begging her to stop. He lost his breath and his diaphragm was tense with the coming rush, almost so that he could've sworn he was having a heart attack, but what better way to go then being fucked to death, he wondered right before Viv's fanciful flexing pushed him to the edge, making him pound her against the door so hard that the hinges began to rattle.

His mouth burned a trail up her throat and he savagely kissed her, biting at her soft lips as she returned the favor, her body tensing against his and she moaned his name till she ran out of breath. The flutter of her flexing made his body quiver, reminding him that she had left a little enough in him to go for round two, like she always did.

Brig let go of Viv's legs and she wrapped them around his hip again, letting him press her up against the door while his hands found her face. He kissed her deeply, one hand pressing against the door while the other tangled itself in her long hair. Swallowing, his throat was dry and he felt the sweat roll down the side of his face. Pulling back, he looked at Viv - her face was flushed, making her skin glow and her eyes were drowsy, lids heavy enough to close.

Raising his eyebrows at her, he gave her a half grin.

Viv slowly slipped out of Brig's embrace, settling her shaky legs onto her wedges as they planted on the floor. Brig pulled up his pants while still in front of her, but she stopped him from buttoning them. He left them hanging on his hips as he leaned her back, both hands on either side of her head, pressed up against the door. Viv reached out and tugged on the waistband of his trousers and pulled him close, kissing him deeply. They were hundreds of kisses, each one just seconds long, but each new and exciting. Finally he released her lips and licked his own slowly, still breathing heavy. Viv looked over his shoulder and he followed her gaze.

"The desk," she said with a grin.

"I have a bathroom, too."

They laughed as Brig grabbed her waist again, twisting around and pushing her up against the desk. He shoved his phone and various desk things off the surface and laid her down, just as his iphone began to chirp in his pocket.

"Don't answer it," Viv demanded, giving him a stern look.

"I won't. Shut up and move your leg...right there," he replied in a gruff, sexy voice.

Her giggling turned into a rather pronounced moan as Viv did as she was told. Suddenly his computer beeped at them. They both turned and looked at the monitor and watched as it told them that Hammer was in the Situation Room, using the secure line, but couldn't because Viv had shut it down completely at that end. That meant....

"Oh shit, get up," Brig said, lifting Viv back off his desk. "He can't reconnect from out there. He needs to come in here to..."

"Oh my god, get off me - get off!!!" Viv yelped frantically.

Hammer looked at his phone and made a face. The message was a relief and a confusing mess at the same time.

/Son - Piper assessment has been approved. Your replacements report no later than date is 15 Nov. Duncan and I will be accompanying them. - Vigo/

He had been preparing to leave the property to join Lily for lunch when the message had come. Sending a quick message to his girl, he exited their apartment and headed down to the Situation Room to contact his father directly. Brig had given the Pipers the rest of the week off after the sparring exercise between the LT and Vivienne. He winced painfully thinking about how it ended.

Taking the stairs down to the Sit. Room, Hammer let himself in and accessed the computers for a secure line to his father's phone. The call failed, sighting a network error. Sitting, he manually rerouted the call, but it still refused to connect. He turned to get up out of the COM seat when Vivienne's scent floated up from the chair. Lifting his hands, he looked down and inhaled deeply.

The scents were old - Lewis, Marko, and the Sergeant's, but Vivienne's scent was fresh. As he stood, he encountered Brig's scent mixed in with Vivienne's. She was down there with Brig, right that second. Moving toward the corridor, Hammer walked briskly to Brig's office, but slowed down just as he reached it.

He knew he shouldn't be eavesdropping, but something was bothering him about his cousin and Vivienne. Knowing Brig for over one hundred years, he knew that women were the one thing he could not resist. Not with Vivienne, he thought to himself. Hammer bristled thinking of his cousin with her. She was not someone with whom to trifle with, Hammer thought, not a passing fancy or trophy for his cousin to show off. Not if he or Vigo had any say in it.

That made him stop - was he feeling protective over Vivienne?

Hammer made another face, his second in as many minutes, and shook the nonsense from his head. He put his right hand on the door and knocked with the other, pushing it open without a real announcement.

Vivienne was seated in the chair in front of Brig's desk. His cousin was leaning back, looking up at the ceiling as he listened to Vivienne go on about her recent review of Domingo, the most recent Piper. Viv leaned her head back and looked at Hammer. Her ipad was in her lap and Domingo's report was on the screen.

Brig looked over at Hammer and sat forward.

"Am I interrupting?"

"No, thank god. Vivienne, that'll be all," his cousin said in a short voice.

She made a face and laid her ipad flat onto her lap. "What, I'm a secretary all of the sudden?"

"I need a secure line," Hammer said almost absently, pointing behind him.

Brig looked at Vivienne and creased his forehead. "Again...please don't use the com relay without Lewis or someone else here, Vivienne."

"You disconnected..." Hammer started.

"Yes, yes. I know. I disconnected the network. Steve Jobs over here already told me. You need to upgrade your set up."

"Yes, yes. I know," Brig replied in a monotone voice.

Hammer sighed unhappily. Whether Brig and Vivienne were involved, it was hard for him to say with his underdeveloped social skills and mores. He waited for Brig to reset the servers from his desk, his hand still on the door knob. Vivienne went back to staring at Brig with cold eyes and dangling a foot from her crossed legs. Her scent was thick and palatable. Hammer never noticed that before, but it made the wolf in him want to...protect her?

"You all right, Vivienne?" Hammer asked, surprising her not near as much as him.

She looked back at him again and flashed him a smile. "Yeah. I spoke to Vigo, by the way. Is that who you're calling?"

Normally he'd be irritated by her nosiness, but he nodded in agreement instead. "He sent me a message. Your review looked favorably upon us, I gather?"

Viv twisted in her seat to look directly at Hammer. "Everything's 5 by 5, captain. Except for Marthinus - still need to talk to him."

Brig signaled to Hammer that the connection was ready to go. Nodding to his cousin, Hammer turned to leave. "Let me know how that goes, please?"

"Of course," Vivienne said with another smile.

Hammer paused again, looking into the room, as if it had an reason for his odd feeling. "You sure nothing is...?" The nagging sensation kept bothering him. His wolf's interest was now piqued but he tried to shrug it off.

"Yeah, I'm good, Hammer. Thanks for...asking?" Vivienne seemed perplexed by his attention, as well. Again, no more than he was.

"All right then. Thanks, Brig."

His cousin waved and leaned back into his chair as Hammer exited the office.

"What was that about?" Brig asked quietly.

Viv looked at the closed door for a few moments, perplexed as well, before shrugging and turning back to look at Brig. "No idea."

Brig rolled his chair over just past his desk. "Come here."

"Negative. Not with Hammer down the hall."

Chuckling he replied, "That's not why I'm asking."

"Then I am hurt and insulted that you're not, sir." Viv stood and circled his ridiculously large desk and stood in front of him. Sitting forward, he pulled her closer, in between his legs. "What do you want," she asked slowly, her eyes narrowing at him.

Brig pulled her close, enclosing his arms around her waist and rubbed his cheek against her chest. He held her like that for a long while. Viv lazily played with his hair, tugging at his grown out buzz cut when she noticed the slight curl now that he could comb it back.

"Your hair is curly like your father's."

Brig nodded silently, rubbing his face in between her cleavage, moving his nose against the cashmere as he held her tighter.

"What are you doing?" she asked softly as she dragged her nails through his hair.

"This is cashmere, right?"

"Yup. Like it?"

Mmmhmm, he murmured, making her smile wider. "You should wear it more often."

"I'm not a vampire with unlimited income, you know."

"I really like it. It does something to your scent." Brig inhaled deeply. "Makes it...thicker almost." He ran his hands up the back of her thighs and above the material, outlining her curves until he reached her lower back and then ran them back down slowly again.

"Hey," Viv said, getting his attention. He looked at her with his crisp, blue eyes. "I better go."

"Go then," he said with a nasty grin.

"So rude," Viv said as she bent over and kissed him softly on his lips, her hands cupping his face. They stood there like that for several more stolen moments, kissing softly until Brig began to run his hands up underneath her dress. It made Viv laugh into their kiss.

"I'll walk you out."

Viv stepped back allowing Brig to stand and fix his uniform, buttoning up the jacket. Then she reached out and took his hand for a moment, but just looked at it, touching it with her hands. They couldn't walk out the door holding hands, not with Hammer down the hall, so as they reached the door, Viv let it go and dropped her own hands to her side. Brig picked up her ipad and handed it to her as he opened the door for her.

They walked slowly down the hallway, almost lingering in the quiet of the corridor, making their moments together last just a little longer.

"We probably shouldn't do that again," Viv said quietly.

"Oh no," Brig said grinning as he gently nudged her with his shoulder. "Absolutely not."

He once again gave her that side look, making her stomach tie into knots. "Jerkus," she mumbled as they turned the corner into the Situation Room. Hammer had made his call and left already, leaving them alone, yet again, down in the Piper Lair. Brig stayed behind as Viv walked to the exit and let herself out. With a wink, she opened the door and left.
