Fetish Clubbing 101

Thaddeus followed closely behind Arin through the throng of people as they headed for the bar. It was becoming more clear to him now that the Evenhet knew what he was doing; he moved easily and seamlessly through the crowd, while Thaddeus found himself in constant collision with the other patrons. Bodies brushed against his own without inhibition or even notice, and it was all Thaddeus could do not to cringe. When he found himself turning sideways to work his way between two people, the woman he was attempting to pass turned around to face him, pressing a pair of impossibly large breasts, barely contained by a red leather top, against his chest and pinning him in place against a rather large man. For some reason he felt the odd urge to apologize before she slowly looked him up and down, licked her lips, and turned back to her drink.

Thaddeus moved quickly away from her and hurried to catch up with Arin.

The Evenhet had been right about the clothes. And the manners.

Just keep playing the part, Thaddeus. You can do this.

Good girl. Dignity at all times, Birseis. Dignity at all times.

Thaddeus blinked. He had responded so habitually to the animal, who seemed to enjoy acting like a puppy around him until he spoke with affectionate sternness. At which time, of course the dog would settle down and Thaddeus would reward her with a pat on the head. But what could this dog be doing here? Unless..

He shot an anxious look at Arin.

Oh hell.
Alfarinn 18 years ago
Alfarinn pushed himself out of his emotional mire and listened to Thaddeus's views on the place. He smiled slightly. So Anantya, so ordered, so sure. Thaddeus was a perfect gem, flawless in his conviction and devotion. Just as Alfarinn was devoted...to Evenhet.

He leaned up and turned to regard his companion.

"I agree that rules are important. Society without rules is anarchy. However oppression exits where lack of freedom reigns. Places like this help make the rest of the hierarchy function properly. These people have their bit of freedom, their forbidden pleasure and then they go back to their daily lives. This one a banker, that one a clerk. This is their sanctuary, to express something about themselves that they don't feel capable of elsewhere."

Alfarinn paused to look at the crowd before turning back and continuing. "Perhaps some of them take it too far. Freedom has its risks, being responsible for you own person and actions seems to be a task not everyone can handle but those are few when looking at society as a whole. Without little places of anarchy and expression, society dies. The great poets, painters, and philosophers of almost every age have been considered deviants in their own time. However, the things they portrayed needed to be seen and heard. While this is hardly a magnus opus in the sense of great beauty. It is a masterpiece in terms of function."

He regarded Thaddeus solemnly. "Do you not ever long to be free on occasion, Thaddeus, simply yourself without airs, without social constraints for one blessedly sweet moment. I ,for one, can't even remember what such a thing is like but some of the ones out there do."

Alfarinn noticed the dog come up and lick Thaddeus's hand. Great, someone's pet is loose.

Thaddeus pointed down to the dog.

Chryseis's. Her name is Birseis. Thaddeus stripped off the now soiled gloves and pinched the bridge of his nose. This was bound to happen eventually. Anantya does not entirely avoid this place, though it was my understanding that most visits here were business related.

I had rather hoped this wouldn't happen quite so soon, though.

Looking back at the dog, Thaddeus spoke to her.

Go. Find your master. You are a good dog.

He turned back to Alfarinn. I am as good as discovered, though it is possible Birseis did not see you from her vantage point. If we leave now we can possibly delay the inevitable, though this was, as I said, bound to happen. Or we can stay here, continue this fascinating conversation, and hope for the best.

Damn. Thaddeus felt he could have talked to Arin for hours on the matter at hand.

Alfarinn tilted his head in thought. Anantya's rules were rather pointed on certain matters. He didn't wish to see Thaddeus in trouble on his account. He also didn't wish to compromise the work they were doing.

He stood and extended his hand to Thaddeus.

"Come, let's call it a night then."

Alfarinn told himself the gesture was to get them safely through the club without another incident. Not simply because he wanted to feel that touch again. He knew he was lying to himself but at least there was a reason. They needed to move quickly.

The decision made, Thaddeus took Arin's hand without hesitation and stood.

My God.

He nearly felt his legs fold under him, suddenly off balance, reeling, but now they were moving, disappearing into the crowd, Thaddeus's left hand gripping Arin's, his right holding onto the Evenhet's arm to keep from falling.

He couldn't help but wonder once again at how -right- that touch felt, pale hand in pale hand, long, elegant fingers intertwining.

There really wasn't any reason to let go, for the moment at least. He felt pleasantly buzzed, his hand was wrapped up in an intelligent and attractive man's, and they appeared to be well on their way to a successful escape, at least for tonight. Sure, there would likely be hell to pay on all three accounts in the very near future, but for now, the moment was what it was.

He wondered if this is what it was like, to feel just a little bit free.

Chryseis Angelique 18 years ago
As she rounded the dance floor edge, Chryseis nearly tripped and landed n her face. Her right arm shot out and grabbed firmly onto a the shirt of a tall round man. Catching herself and regaining her balance she stood up and brushed herself off.

Pardon me sir, i do appologize.

Looking back down she saw what she had tripped over. She glared down at the female mastiff.

Birseis where have you been? Whos hand were you licking? Where is he now?

The dogs ears perked and her head tilted as she stared back lovingly at her master. Her tail began to wag.

Friend master..scratches ears....pets fur.

Chryseis sighed and placed her hand on her forehead. Scanning the room she searched for any signs of who Birseis would have called a friend. She spotted a vacant booth 20 feet away and wondered if thats where Birseis had been. She gave a little shrug and sent a call out to Achilles to come. As she approached the club door she spotted Lykaios and Leander. Giving the brothers a nod she watched as they exscused themselves from their booths and stepped to her side.

It's time to leave boys. Forgive me for cutting your fun short.
