Belle could get him to do the strangest damned things. He just couldn't explain it. The cider was spiked, maybe that was it. He took another swallow, nope that wasn't it.
Rather resignedly he half played with the material. Ambrose never claimed to be creative, not in an arts and crafts kind of way but he was going to give it a go any way. Felt seemed right up his alley, no stitching, no fraying, no fuss. Red caught his eye, read and green, a bit cliché but still seasonal.
With minimal griping he managed to create something almost, mostly recognizable. A nice red felt stocking. Ambrose was rather proud of himself as he added a little gold trim. See he had a brilliant future ahead of him.

Decorating the Tree (SA Supporters ONLY)
In the pavilion at the long table full of decorations, those who have provided the Nachton Children's Foundation with a donation are welcome to make their own ornament. Put it in the pool and receive a numbered ticket, and at the end of the night all the decorations will be randomly redistributed to everyone who has participated!
((ooc: This is a mini art exchange! Each character in this thread must contribute an ornament in the form of a 60x60 button. You may have multiple characters contribute, as long as each makes and contirbutes his or her own original 60x60 button. Buttons must be submitted to Aishe by December 23rd, at which point your character will receive a numbered "ticket." On December 24th, buttons will be handed out to everyone who contributed. You will be given the name of the person who designed your button, but only for crediting purposes; unless one character expressly tells you that they made the ornament in a RP'ed setting, your character will not know whose ornament they've been given.
Feel free to RP in this thread if you are an SA supporter. Make sure, as with the rest of the Festival, that you are in this thread and no other in the event. Any character who enters, however long or short, will be considered a contributer and will be expected to make a button!

Pavilion, that was enclosed, at least sort of and it was a little warmer. Not enough for her taste but warmer. Pak had been on her way back to her car, and the heater, but stopped there to take a look. Something shiny caught her eye and it was down hill from there.
Give her a keyboard, a puzzle, a chessboard and Pak was a very happy person. This whole art thing wasn’t her forte but it was pretty. She fond shiny gold fabric and just started goofing around, soon enough there was glue all over her gloves but damned if she didn’t have a nifty little ornament all wrapped up in a neat little package, as it were.
Grinning and satisfied she finally went in search of her car. She’d been social enough for several months.

It had been a wonderful evening. For a change she’d been very relaxed with Xeph. Still pleased with that realization she wanted to participate in more of the festivities. Drifting into the pavilion she was mesmerized but all the art supplies. She used some art, some molding in her work but very rarely did anything like this for fun.
Smiling she placed a piece here, a piece there layering things until she was satisfied with the result. It was a nice little tree, some snow, and a starry night. She decided it was a very pretty little scene and she hadn’t done at all bad.

By the time the night draws to a close, most of the decorating materials have been used, little ornaments crafted. One of the volunteers, a hat full of tickets in hand, stands at the center of the pavilion. Covering the hat with her hand and giving it a rigorous shake, she begins to call out numbers, waiting for the matching ticket holders to claim their ornaments.
When all is said and done the hat is quite empty but the box for donations is very full. It will be a Merry Christmas for parentless children, thanks to Nachton's residents and their boundless generosity!
