Description (if an NPC) or name of your creator(if a PC) ( Please be as specific as possible, who your creator/gifter was, why he chose to change you, where is he/she now?): Kiril inherited GMV from his father (Alexander Turasca), but was gifted by Baba Jhienve Kalderas, wife of Dmitri, who left the old world for the new during the unpleasantness in the 1940's. Jhienve, now deceased, was an elderly woman at the time of Kiril's change, but still held much of her potency and all of her influence up until her final illness in the mid-Eighties. Dmitri passed not long after.

Personal Questions

1. Describe your character's personality. Kiril is a feral man, and feels that the gaje have corrupted too much of the world already. Though he will occasionally venture into a city, he greatly prefers the wilderness or very small towns. He is not above using the trappings of society to ensnare unwitting city slickers for quick profit, but prefers to dismantle or entangle what he feels are the corruptive forces within society and live life outside of its bounds. He is more comfortable with weres and wolves than with humans.

2. Describe how your character would appear to a stranger (I.E. typical dress, way they carry themselves etc.) Kiril crouches whenever at rest, and typically wears sturdy, functional clothes to suit his active lifestyle. He frequently comes off as rude or uncivilized, but can play the house gypsy when he needs something.

3.What does your character like? His "companions" (wolves freed from zoos that he is retraining to live free), the thrill of the hunt, the feel of fur, moonlight on his bare skin, the scent of water on the breeze, entangling society in its own snare.

4. Dislike? Cities. City folk. Encroachment into the wild. Pollution. Developers.

5. (For humans) Describe what abilities you see your character having if they were turned.

6. What are your fears? (please choose and explain 3 minimum)

Kiril fears the growing urban sprawl in North America. As the cities expant, the wilderness contracts, reducing the available land for hunting, artificially increasing the competition between species and individuals within a species. Eventually, the growth of cities could kill the planet. The wild is already too crowded in some areas - the Santa Monica coyotes are moving into the cities to become trash pickers. The east coast is on its way to similar unpleasantness.

He is also afraid that pollution will waste the planet away even beyond how the cities are choking the land. Places like the New Jersey coastline hold some of the most polluted ocean water on the planet. Lake Erie and the Cuyahoga River caught fire, for chrissakes. Now the sky is bleeding, too. Holes in the ozone layer. Industrialists will be the end of us all.

Kiril fears that his own efforts will not be enough. The efforts that he puts forth to limit urban sprawl and his war on polluters may not make a difference. Finding like minded individuals is difficult, even in rural areas. He worries that a city will hold even fewer, as the dwellers are less in touch with the world than with concrete.

7. What is your character's strengths and weaknesses? (please pick 3 minimum of each and explain in detail how and why this affects your character)
Kiril is very willing to think of outside of the box solutions to what he views as the world's problems. He is very loyal to his family, his pack, and his "charges". He is an athlete of his kind - not excelling in any one field, but well rounded in many talents. He is well versed in the laws necessary to halt or derail development.

That said, he is very territorial when it comes to the wild. He views most encroachment into the wilderness as a direct challenge to the natural order that ought to be stopped whenever opportunity presents itself. He considers most city dwellers to be inferior beings - a misguided people sadly in need of an education that they couldn't possibly comprehend an in many cases frown upon. Tools of the mulo. This behavior can often thwart his best efforts and cost him potential allies. Coupled with his idea that the modern world is too divorced from its instinctual self, he holds a lot of irritation toward people in general. He is not especially open minded to points of view that are contrary to his own, and doesn't listen to what he feels are empty justifications for terrible behaviors.

Quirks and Habits worthy of mention -
Whenever he has been in one place for more than a few seconds without moving, he feels compelled to crouch or be closer to the ground. Lines are a real problem for this reason. He frequently coughs or scoffs when people he disagrees with or doesn't like are trying to speak.

Personal History 3rd person (1st is acceptable) but please be as detailed as possible, this can/will affect your rp with other players.
Every boy has a best friend. For many of them, their best friend is a dog. Kiril's was a wolf...and the wolf happened to be another boy. Kiril was raised near a pack, and was no stranger to their ways. He learned all there was to know of life within the circle of his father's kumpania, which was also the pack. Much of this knowledge came from the Baba - she was ALWAYS telling stories about the old world and the way things ought to be. Kiril was a decent student, and didn't fidget much. He was always more well behaved when one of the many wolves was listening to Baba Jhienve as well. As a very young boy, he wouldn't sneak into his mother and father's bed, but in with the dogs. He found their fur to be more pleasant than any blanket.

Even as a baby he was more interested in puppies than other toddlers, and started speaking a bit late. He made up for that later on. He could seem to communicate with the dogs more effectively than with his playmates. In later years, this became a cherished skill of his friends and peers, but as a child they picked on him for it. He didn't mind though...they just didn't understand, and that was okay. Wasn't that what Dmitri was always saying about the dilo gaje? They just didn't know any better. Sometimes good kids didn't either.

Around this time, he was gifted by the teacher. She said he was ready to learn about his true form, and shame on his parents for keeping him from it for so long. His mother and father disagreed on the matter. His mother, a formerly practicing doctor, had given up the city slicker lifestyle to go walkabout proper, but she still wanted to keep her old religion and old form. Silly mama. Papa knew what was best, but mama always won arguments with papa. She was so helpful to the pack during the full moon that he didn't want to push her away, but he knew in his heart that Jhienve was right. Later, Kiril thought that Teacher only let his mother stay around because of her different medicine...otherwise he didn't think Teacher would have put up with any dissention from a human on a pack matter. Mama just feared that there was so much wolf in the boy before the gifting, what would happen after? But spirit calls to spirit, and his gifting, though late, was granted. He didn't even get all that hairy from it like some boys did.

For awhile, as a boy and later a teen, he thought he could change the world. He thought he could be like Moses or Jesus or Danya and teach the world to see anew. When the city slicker kids didn't listen and threw rocks at him, his father laughed at him, saying that is what the city people did with prophets. They hit them with rocks, they burned them, they put them on crosses and felt bad about it later. They didn't want to know a truth that didn't involve blood.

So Kiril gave them blood. He blew up bulldozers, sabotaged chainsaws, filed down locks, cut power lines...did everything he could think of to help the dilo see what they were doing, and that it was wrong and hurtful to themselves both directly and indirectly. And they called *him* criminal. It was okay. He just changed his name and his family left town anyway. But the next time around, the development was still built. They hadn't learned anything. They didn't know how to listen anymore. What was the point?

Growing even more distant from a civilization that had forgotten to care for what was under its foundations, Kiril turned to legal recourse. If sabotaging a bulldozer didn't slow things down, perhaps that magical red tape would. Posing as a series of individuals working for various aspects of government, he caused all manner of chaos. Finally some of the developing stopped, crushed under the weight of bureaucracy. The weakness of business was stagnation, and bureaucracy provided that in abundance. He could never ply his trade for long in an area, but a month of work could halt up to a decade of development. It was more effective, and didn't risk martyrdom.

His other project was animal liberation, especially of his beloved pena and prala creatures, the wolves. At every zoo he'd seek an opportunity to release the feral creatures that would be able to survive, or create an opportunity for their illegal exportation back to where they were originally stolen from. The wolves he could retrain himself, or with the help of his pack. The other animals he had to catch before they became soft like gaje had become soft. Soft around the middle. Soft around the soul.
