Creeped Out

For the fifth time in as many days, or less, Fallon sat in the kitchen and watched, through the window, as the kitten paw at the door. The light from the ambient bulbs cast shadows across the patio, but the spot where the kitten sat was bathed in light.

"Shoo!" She waved at the tiny mite, completely unfazing the animal. Something about the young cat had finally caused Fallon to question her sanity, and she no longer found the appearances cute, or fun.

She had started leaving small dishes of food out for the kitten, after she'd mentioned it to Cyrus. After she had put cat food onto the shopping list, it had appeared in the pantry, and she had begun the ritual. Fallon wasn't sure, but she assumed either Suki had bought the food, or arranged for it to be included with the weekly supplies ordered. In any event, even though Fallon had put the dish out, the cat had refused to eat it. Every night when Fallon woke, and checked, she was dismayed to find the dish still as full as when she'd set it out the morning before.

And yet the cat remained...always appearing when Fallon went outside, or stood in front of a window...the cat was always just a few feet away. It either meowed at Fallon, or clawed in an attempt to get in and be near Fallon, and if Fallon went out side, the cat was right at her feet. Sometimes it was extremely unnerving, and had almost caused Fallon to fall when she tried to avoid stepping on the tiny creature.

The part that really began bugging Fallon was whenever Cyrus or Suki came into the room, the cat would vanish. And each time Fallon would try to catch the cat, to show either Suki or Cyrus, the cat would take off and not return for up to a couple days at a time.

"Please...just scat!" She tried again to spook the cat into leaving, and sighed when the little white feline just sat and stared in return.

"What do you want?!" Her voice now a very loud, slightly frantic whisper, as she begged the animal to leave her alone. The night was late, or the morning was early, but in either case Fallon had yet to eat, and was getting a little anxious.

Cyrus had gone out, Fallon assumed on business, while Fallon had gone into town to do some last minute shopping for the party, and when she returned home she had been greeted at the front door by the pet. Ever since then she had tried every way she could come up with, to get rid of the cute pest, but now she had lost her patience, and just wanted a little peace and calm before it became time to turn in.

She hoped Cyrus would be home soon, but if not, she would help herself to a goblet of their private stock, and crawl into bed to wait for her mate to join her.

Turning her eyes from the persistent kitten, Fallon looked across the large yard to where the new house stood beckoning. She would have liked nothing more than to go out the door and up to the new house for another walk through, but she couldn't bring herself to face the cat. For now she was happy just looking at the house that she had seen go from raw two-by-fours and plaster, to become the magnificent home that would soon house her family. It still seemed impossible that she had, less than a year ago, lived in a small, one bedroom place in North Carolina. That tiny hovel would have fit into the lower suite of their current house...in the new house it would have fit in the garage.

Incredible.

While she had heard men were the ones who wanted to just fall asleep after sex, Fallon found herself often in the same mode. Chalking it up to the energy she always seemed to expend when making love with Cyrus, she didn't think there was anything wrong with just wanting to snuggle close and quiet.

Hearing Cyrus instruct Ginger, she sat up a little, and decided there was no reason to go to sleep now, when they would be getting out of the car in minutes. She could have asked Cyrus to have Ginger park the limo, and then just sleep in the car, but Fallon knew that once the glow of their sexual exhaustion dimmed, neither of them would be very comfy in the back of the limo.

Being halfway between lethargy and sleep, she almost didn't hear his question about her 'giggles', but it didn't matter because she couldn't remember now what had tickled her earlier. She sighed softly as she tried to rouse herself, and consider the question.

"You know...I'm not sure. This was MUCH better than driving ourselves, and I always love these spur of the moment love fests...chalk it up to my silly emotions, I guess."

Power? Wasn't that it? That she realized she had a power over Cyrus, and it pleased her in some strange way? Not in a way that she would ever abuse, or take advantage of, but in a way that she had never experienced with another person before. Maybe the giggles came from her realization of this, and in some aspect she was not only surprised by it, but also a little uncomfortable still.

Could she tell Cyrus this though? Would he understand, or would he feel somehow angry with her?

"You know love, how sometimes all you need to do is look at me, and I can't resist dissolving before you?"

Maybe if he admitted feeling the same way, it would be easier for him to see her in that light.

"Your love is overpowering at times, and it leaves me not only at your mercy, but in wonder. I think tonight it finally occurred to me that I might have the same effect on you, and it was a heady concept."
Cyrus 17 years ago
Pleased with his life and Fallon's heartfelt answers, Cyrus hugged her close to him. At her description of how she felt in comparison to his own physical response, he chuckled slightly.

"I dont know if 'disolve' is quite the right description for my reaction to you. I would describe it more of a thicken or steel feeling. But yes, you do have the most amazing effect upon me and I cherish your presence in my life."

The car came to a halt and Ginger exited. They had arrived home. A hint of his prior legathary lingered but there were things to do this evening inside the new house. Kissing his mate deeply he checked to make sure they were both suitably attired for public, even if their public was the driver and any workers still lingering this evening.

"Ready Kitten?"
Fallon 17 years ago
His response set her to giggling again, and Fallon gave him a soft jab to the side. "Thick...hot...steel...yes, maybe that's why I dissolve..." Speaking in her most sultry voice, Fallon looked at Cyrus with smoky eyes, before returning his kiss.

While their evening hadn't been terribly physical, the emotional aspect of party planning combined with the energetic bout of lovemaking had Fallon feeling wonderfully sated and full of 'snugglies'. Consequently she was loathe to leave Cyrus' arms, even if just to depart the limo. But depart she did, once she made sure she could do so without flashing Ginger a gander at what she 'wasn't' wearing under her dress. Still not always the most graceful of women, Fallon was getting better at that too, and gave credit to her increasingly feline ways.

Smoothly sliding from the car, she waited till Cyrus joined her and resumed her cuddling, hugging his arm as she pressed herself close to his side.

"Now I'm ready. Mind if I tag along while you check everything out? I probably won't have a lot to comment on...you and Suki have done an astonishing job on everything."

It was a feeling of need that made Fallon want to do nothing else but remain next to Cyrus, no matter what he was doing. It almost felt like if she were to let him go, he might disappear from her life. Silly feeling? Certainly, but one of those sensations that didn't present itself often enough to worry over. As long as she was able to remain at his side, it was nothing to worry over.
Cyrus 17 years ago
After that kiss he needed just a moment before emerging. He was not ashamed of his bodies reaction to his mate, he simply did not wish to embarass her in front of anyone that may be in view. Adjusting his reawakened manhood slightly before settling his shirt tails so they fell down he made himself presentable. Sliding out of the car he thanked Ginger. She simply smiled and winked at him before heading back into the car to leave. Cyrus thought she quietly giggled something about detailing the interior now but did not quite grasp what that would mean so he ignored it.

As he lead Fallon to the new house he was impressed to see the fountain in though not running at this time and the landscapers working on the plantings around and in the patio. With a brief nod to them the pair continued into the house to explore.

Everything looked ready for them to move in. Here and there it was noticable that things were not quite completely finished. One lighting fixture lacked bulbs and its shade, one room was missing the light switch plate and painters hurried about touching up the trim. They could see out the windows that the gardeners had more than one crew as a trio of them worked on the planters on the lanai and the courtyard garden had four workers. The tour was brief as he steered them towards the stairwell down to the safe rooms. People would probably think it was odd to have a door to a taircase in the pantry but it was well hidden and they really did not need a huge walk in pantry as the plans had.

Deactivating the security with his palm print was easy as was entering the seven digit code. It was harder to stand still knowing that the security would jab him with a needle to run a DNA scan. The vampire security team he had hired claimed this was cutting edge though he had his doubts. Still he would believe them until he discovered otherwise. The door finally opened and he waved Fallon into their secret underground.
Fallon 17 years ago
There wasn't one thing Fallon would have changed about the new house. In her eyes it was the most perfect place she could imagine living. And while a small part of her wouldn't believe it until she was waking up in their bed there, she was starting to feel what it would be like. Each trip through helped her feel it a bit more.

The fact that she had a lot of input into the building and decorating was a good reason there was nothing she would change, even if things had been a lot more abstract when she was actually giving her input. Through Suki and Cyrus, and their wonderful crew, it had all come together astonishingly close to how Fallon had it all pictured in her mind, so of course she would love it.

But each time she had gone through the house, whether alone, or with Cyrus, she found something else she fell in love with all over again. Without thinking, Fallon released Cyrus' arm and stood still, while he kept walking. She was now picturing where certain pieces of furniture would go, and smiled as the vision became clear. She was oblivious to any signals Cyrus was giving the workers. That part of the process seemed to move all on it's own, because she really had no connection there. She also unconsciously overlooked the things that weren't finished. She wasn't blind...she did see there were some minor issues that needed to be taken care of, but because she had nothing to do with that, it didn't concern her. Knowing Cyrus, and Suki, Fallon had no doubts at all that the minute they moved in everything would be perfect.

Still a little in her own world, Fallon fell into step with Cyrus again, as he walked towards the hidden suite. She watched as the security system allowed him to enter, and she followed behind as they wound their way below.

"Will you be having that system enabled for me as well?" She would need some way to access the lower level, and was intrigued by the 'high tech' manner of the new arrangement.

"Or Suki?" It still bristled Fallon just the tiniest bit, that Suki had access to the lower level at in the other house. Though they had not experienced any further issues since the one time, and Fallon knew in her heart that Suki was no threat of any kind to her or Cyrus. Instead of dwelling on the reasons for the way she felt, she chalked them up to her natural 'nesting' sentiments, and tried to just ignore them when they rose up. It was very practical that Suki have knowledge and ability to access the entire house.
Cyrus 17 years ago
"Of course love, you will be added once its out of the testing stage. Right now the security crews and I have access, but once it has been run through some paces it is going to be wiped clean and only the three of us will be allowed access. They cant work on it or check it until all the other work is done, so it is taking a while."

They emereged into the finished entry room that was a combination entertainment area and den. It had large couches, tables and chairs as well as a small kitchen that was more like a large wet bar with seating for six on high stools. These rooms had been completed first and unopened except to drop off special deliveries. Walking past a pool table to a very sturdy door with another palm pad for identification. Once this door unlocked, Cyrus held it open for Fallon. Inside was a small entry type room, more of an oversized closet with two doors. One door lead to the weapons vault which contained guns, ammo, swords, blades, crossbow and two spears as well as liquidatable cash and untracable assets. The other door would not open unless the outer one closed, sealing the room. This is the door Cyrus opened.

Inside was a set up for displaying museum quality pieces complete with lights, podiums with enclosed tops and climate controlled atmosphere. Three very large crates stood unopened in the space. This room would house some of his collection. Prying one of the nailed lids up and resting it along a wall, Cyrus rummaged through the packagig for the treasure within. Inside he found a rather large box. Once the box was removed from the crate and opened it revealed it held a 1300's suit of Japanese Samuri Armor. This was a recent acquisition and it would find a home here.

"While its not the sentimental pieces I have in China, like my father's helm and my mothers special serving bowl, these are recent and priceless artifacts. I can set these up anytime though. Shall we check out the bedroom thats down here?"

His last comment was said with an exagerated leer.
Fallon 17 years ago
Fallon felt a little silly when she heard Cyrus' explanation as to why she hadn't gotten security clearance yet. Of course all the workmen would need access now, and that would have to be changed when the house was complete.

It was nice to see furniture in this part of the house. If anything could make her feel the move in was imminent, that was it.

"This part of the house alone is larger than anyplace I ever lived in before." She smiled, and shook her head a little in amazement. She had come so far in such a very short time.

She was very happy to feel at home already, but knew that was a result of Cyrus, and not the surroundings.

"Are you going to teach me to play pool?" Fallon drug her fingertips across the felt as she walked by, and wondered if it would be difficult to learn. It had never been a burning desire to learn before, but she found the idea had merit now. She grinned at some of those ideas, and her eyes twinkled.

Walking through the doors that Cyrus opened, a small shudder shot up her spine as her eyes caught sight of the arsenal. She wished she hadn't taken it upon herself to open that door and peer inside, but it was good to know what was there. Watching as one door closed and Cyrus opened yet another, she looked inside it as well, gazing at the contents from over his shoulder. Such things she beheld were so foreign to her that it was difficult to muster up any sentiment. When a person never had much in their life to covet as such, she had to wonder if she would ever feel emotional over a 'thing'. She merely nodded as he explained again.

His leer couldn't be ignored, and Fallon turned to walk away with an exaggerated sway of her hips in response.

"Definitely...I want to see our new 'den'."

The bedroom upstairs would be grand, especially with its connection to the garden, but Fallon knew the majority of the time they would be sleeping down here, where their safety would be nearly guaranteed.
Cyrus 17 years ago
While he wished she had not opened the weapons room door, there was nothing to do but let her experience for herself what was in there. Hearing Fallon describe the bedroom down here as their 'den' caused him to pause for a moment. Continuing on he looked around slightly. This space would drive him crazy after a while. It was completely silent due to the sound proofing between this level and the main house, it seemed stale to him due to the climate control system and it just did not feel right to him. While he did prefer underground habitats he prefered natural ones. This basement was completely artificial and it disturbed him on a basic level somehow.

Standing in the doorway to the bedroom looking around he shook his head.
"I hope to only use this space in emergencies due to the security and safety proceedures upstairs. This can be useful to guests or clanmates needing to spend a day or longer. Or for us in severe weather."

Looking around he hoped she did not mind should one of their clanmates find theselves in need of a safe daytime spot. He learned centuries ago to have a seperate space or his own would be invaded, and not all vampires slept. Not that he ever entertained much, but occasionally fellow Huntsman needed a safe haven. Taking in all the area visible from his doorway vantage point several things came to mind and he found himself explaining things to Fallon.

"This area was finished because the people working on the house now do not know of this section. It is secret to all but the builder as his gift of command had the workers forget about it completely. And since he is a loyal clanmate whom I have known for hundreds of years, I trusted him to build it. Its always good to have a parinoid, anal retentive, and obsessive vampire plan a secret room. There is even a secret entrance into our forest from this level. Though getting to it takes vampire abilities."

The upstairs would be completed shortly and their master suite would be livable. Since security was just as tight up there as down here, he was not worried. The windows had all been drafted out of the plans entirely in the suite. Plus the slidding doors to the lanai had been changed to a solid wall and one door with the same security. Unless a tornado touched down upon the house they should be fine.

"It is almost completely done."
Fallon 17 years ago
While very relieved to hear they were going to be using the rooms upstairs more, Fallon had again misunderstood. She had assumed the lower rooms in the new house would be a mirror to the lower rooms in the house they now lived in.

"I'm so glad to hear you say that...these are nice enough rooms, but the ones upstairs are really incredible." And because she knew the time and effort that had gone into the new house construction, she really had been silent about anything that might have concerned her.

She nodded in understanding as he went on to explain more. It might have been to her benefit to have paid better attention when the original house plans had been discussed, so that she would now have known about all these things. But instead Fallon had put all her trust and faith into Cyrus, knowing his experience and wisdom would make sure the home provided would be perfect in every way.

"And after we move in...how long before the other house is demolished?" Of course Fallon knew the new house would be far and above a much superior place to live, but that didn't stop her from feeling a little sentimental about the older home. The house they lived in now had been her first with Cyrus, and that in itself made it precious to her. It was difficult to think of it as just a structure...it housed memories now too.
Cyrus 17 years ago
He was glad that she seemed to be in agreement. These rooms were ok, but upstairs it was palatial. Hugging her tightly for a moment he tried to explain the actions that had shrouded the house in mystery not just to her, but everyone.

"Because no one person knows everything about this house except for myself, Suki and yourself, we are safer. There are no complete blueprints on file anywhere and the contractors were all clanmates able to make the workers forget any sensitive work. Between that, the security system, Suki living here during the day and our keen senses, it should be extremely safe for both of us."

Cyrus knew he was probably being paranoid, but since he could not simply kill those that built this house as he had hundreds of years ago on his China estate this helped ease his mind. America kept track of its people and today's technology assisted. Guiding his mate back up the stairs he tried to shake off those thoughts. At her question regarding demolition he recalled what Suki had said.

"As soon as we are moved in completely it needs to be removed. There are plans to put in very large trees in that location that needs to be done before winter or else they shall all die. We will not do one without enough time to do the other, but from the looks of the house today, perhaps in two weeks."

They emerged from the pantry to an empty kitchen, Cyrus' keen ears could not hear anyone about so they must have all left for the night. Through the glass he could hear the pond and pool water splashing lightly.

"Lets go check the Lanai."
Fallon 17 years ago
"I never doubted for a second that this home would be safe." Smiling, Fallon kissed Cyrus softly, as an expression of her trust, and love. Even if she hadn't been part of the picture, she knew Cyrus would have taken great pains to protect not only himself, but Suki as well. It was something he did, and though she didn't take it for granted, she had come to recognize it.

"Yes, I suppose having a nice grove of trees would be better than looking at the back of the old house. It seems like such a waste though."

She pondered an idea a little before she made her suggestion.

"Would it be terribly expensive to just move the old house...somewhere else? I know I'm being silly, but aside from hating the thought of destroying a place I've grown fond of, just think of the good that could be done with it...maybe even use it to create some kind of women's shelter?" Though the idea wasn't one Fallon was stuck on, it seemed as good a thought as any. Not everyone would be as lucky as she had been, finding Nachton, then Cyrus, after she had left North Carolina in flight. But she did remember seeing houses being moved, one time even on a barge on the Atlantic, and while the other house was a bit older, it still seemed quite sturdy.

But this was only a suggestion she would make once. All these matters were in Cyrus' hands, and if he thought otherwise, she wouldn't argue the point.

Walking back upstairs, Fallon was immediately filled with a sense of calm. Not that she had been agitated downstairs, but upstairs was so very different. Releasing her hold on Cyrus' arm, she walked ahead a little more quickly, enjoying the feelings the new rooms instilled in her. The sense of living in a serene jungle was as close to explaining what was filling her now, as anything else she could come up with.

"Oh I wish there was a big hammock or double lounge here now...it would be so nice to...lay here a while." But lying there really wasn't what she had in mind, and until the security system was no longer an issue, Fallon doubted Cyrus would risk even 'play time' in the beautiful courtyard. But boy oh boy was she looking forward to the first night they would be able to. The smell of the plants, and sound of the water...the sparkly lighting...it was just like a fairytale, and she wanted to share it with her prince in the best way she knew how.
Cyrus 17 years ago
Arching a brow at his mate, Cyrus contemplated the old house briefly. "I suppose Suki could look into it. But it may be more expensive to move it than it would be to have a specific building made for that purpose."

Never had he felt a need to donate money to causes. He protected his jungle and figured that was enough. But if this was something Fallon wanted he would do his best to provide the funds for her charities. Following the alluring sway of his mate's hips into the house proper was certainly worth any charitable donation. It was delightful to see her so captivated by the house even as unfinished as it was. Nodding his head at her exclaimation he looked at the space and hoped the decorator found them something comfortable for two enthusiastic lovers to enjoy.

"This lanai will be just added living space, despite its outdoor feeling. The original plans did not call for a roof over the pool but I felt a glass with metal shades would be wise. Even the walls have hidden shutters that move up to enclose this space should we wish."

Pointing at the half walls at the edge of the patio that were solid construction topped with glass that went up to the ceiling. Because of the construction you could not tell they were completely enclosed except for the lack of breeze. The joining of each piece of safety glass was supposedly the latest high tech skyscraper method. The doors off both sides had security like the front doors along side them.

The planters looked full and lush with fresh plants and mulch. Apparently the landscapers had completed this space this evening before leaving. His list of things left for Suki to take care of was getting shorter and shorter.

Making his way to the master suite he opened the door and held it open to Fallon.
"Your suite my love."
Fallon 17 years ago
Fallon nodded when Cyrus confirmed her thought as to the probable expense involved in moving the old house. And yes, a brand new building would be more practical, but there was the sentiment in the old house that would be lost forever, if it was torn down, and that was what Fallon couldn't quite convey.

Now thinking the idea was just silly, she focused on the new house again.

"I'm not surprised any more by the details you and Suki remember. I'm just thankful the two of you have the minds for such detail." Squeezing her arm around his waist, Fallon was proud of everything Cyrus did with the construction of the house, even if he didn't physically do much. That he helped design such a large part of it, and had thought to make parts of it seem so 'outdoorsy', yet remain as secure as an underground vault was a feat she recognized as extraordinary.

"It really does feel like we're outside, except for the smell of the night air. I wonder if there's some way the ventilation system could accommodate such a thing?"

Once she said the words, Fallon immediately felt ungrateful. Here she was being given such a gift to enjoy, and she was finding things to change already.

"I'm sure once we move in I'll not even think about it anyway...it's a marvelous house Cyrus, and I can't wait until we make it a home."

Kissing his cheek she hoped he would just ignore the comment about the ventilation system.

Walking through the door to the master bedroom, Fallon again released her hold on Cyrus and ran directly into the center of the room and spun around. Stopping once she face him again, held out her arms, and beckoned him to come to her.

"OUR suite, love..."
Cyrus 17 years ago
Knowing exactly what she meant about the scent, Cyrus shook his head sadly. "I am sorry love. For safety's sake the windows do not open out here and the ventilation system is designed small enough so that only a very small creature could travel through it. And if we are not safe amongst our clanmates, we have larger issues to worry about."

The underground venting was too small for his feline form to wiggle through, though a mouse may travel through it completely a housecat would get stuck in several places. The press of paranoia seemed to touch every feature of this house. He hoped Fallon did not question her choice of mates at that.

The brief kiss on his cheek helped him slightly, perhaps she did not mind that he had become quite obsessed with her safety upon finding her. Following her into the suite he nodded at her correction of his comment. He would not be anywhere else than by her side so if this was her suite, it was his as well. Theirs, together. The thought warmed his heart and lead his libido down hot paths.

Still the room was satisfactory. There was a wetbar in a corner, complete with silently running wine fridge and cupboard for glasses. The pale wood gleamed under a coat of some chemical his sensitive nose could still smell drying. The sound of running water intrigued him, as it was not coming from the lanai, following it out the door of the bedroom and into their entryway he noticed the fountain on the wall near the bath.

The trickling water was a comforting sound and he wondered who had procured this amazing feature.
"Beautiful. Was this your work love? Or is Suki just that eerily efficient?"
Fallon 17 years ago
Fallon ignored the fact that Cyrus became distracted from her 'come hither' attempt, and grinned.

"Yes, I did find that fountain, though it was Suki who ultimately arranged the purchase. The two of us have had several long talks about the decor of Ger Kogji. I've learned a lot from her too, in finding styles that work well with your tastes, and that go well together. But I'm glad you like this piece as it was one of my favorite choices."

Sometimes Fallon felt like she just wasn't contributing anything at all to the construction of their new home. She put in so little time, in comparison to Cyrus and Suki. But when Cyrus remarked about something she had played a major roll in deciding on, and seemed to really like that decision, she considered that maybe even just a little involvement was fine.

Wending her way to his side, she wrapped her arms around him, nuzzled his neck, and turned to walk around the rest of the suite. Still somewhat overwhelmed by the size of the present house, Fallon knew the enormity of this last move wouldn't really her until they were lying in their bed in the center of the room. She hugged him a little tighter to try and help assuage the minimal fear that seemed to be poking at her.
Cyrus 17 years ago
The fountain was perfect. A soothing blend of water splashing down onto rock and bronze slowly acquiring a beautiful patina. It went so well with his vision of the room and house, he could only marvel at it. The quiet sound of water reminded him of his jungle, being surrounded by nature, home.

"This is perfect. Thank you for adding the one element that makes me know this is home. Our home."

Kissing her temple lightly he could only stand still, returning her hug, secure in the knowledge that they would be safe and happy in their new home soon. Because things had moved so swiftly and easily Cyrus had not grown impatient during construction. Now though, he found himself anxious to move into their very own palace. Guiding his mate along gently he stepped into the bath.

"Lets see if Suki found a tub to my specifications."

The bath was large, as big as their current bedroom at least. The two different sinks pleased him greatly for some reason. It just felt more personalized to them. The large round tub sat near the end of the room. Its dark blue color cleverly hid all its components. Walking the distance to it and inspecting the controls, Cyrus laughed. Suki had surpassed his request some how.

"Good thing this cat likes to play in the water. Our tub can whirlpool, waterfall and even create rapids. Plus if I am not mistaken it even has lights that illuminate under the water. Will this be acceptable for you, love?"
Fallon 17 years ago
How wonderful such simple touches, and actions made Fallon feel. Why was it so many other people in the world just didn't understand this? Why was it so many men felt the need to always be pawing and grabbing at a woman? Cyrus, without a doubt was all man, and he seemed perfectly fine just holding her alongside him, bestowing soft kisses and gentle touches. It would probably always be one of the great mysteries to Fallon, that so many other men couldn't seem to grasp the concept of tenderness.

But for now, Fallon chided herself for yet another lapse into her past. Though the memories were becoming fewer and farther between, she was impatient that they be gone forever. There was no good for her back there, and it wasn't like she didn't appreciate what she had now without constant reminders. If anything whenever she seemed to step backwards, even for only a moment, it tended to detract from the present, and that she didn't want to do.

She beamed again at his persistent accolades about the fountain. Fallon really had fallen in love with the water sculpture, and felt a small bit of relief that Cyrus seemed to as well.

Moving into the bathroom, Fallon grinned as her mind conjured up images of the two of them playing in the lavish tub. She too loved the different sinks, each so different, yet going together so well...just like her and Cyrus. The bathroom seemed to be a statement attesting to their compatibility, and any reassurance there, even if only perceived by her, went a long way. Every day she grew stronger in her self esteem, but it would still be a while before she had anywhere near the confidence a truly self sufficient woman would have.

"I love it, Cyrus, and can't wait to share it with you." A soft giggle escaped her before she looked up at him with desire in her eyes. She was tempering her yearnings for now, not wanting to get into something there that should wait until they were someplace where there was no threat of a workman walking in on them. But she didn't think she was completely successful in keeping all the heat from her gaze.

"But...maybe we should finish up here, and head back to the other house?" There was no question as to what she wanted to do once they got back to their current boudoir.
Cyrus 17 years ago
By the look on her face he realized that their tour was done. A wicked leer crept over his face and he slowly stalked back towards her.

"Oh, I think we should."

Feeling playful he gently batted at a softly curling lock of hair that draped over her shoulder. The urge to wrap it around his fingers and tug her head about was fleeting. He never wanted to scare or hurt her even slightly so the more rough urges he ignored. Though the need to lick her exposed flesh, from cleavage to temple was not resisted. His tongue was lightly rough and not very moist as the hot look in her eyes had caused all bodily fluids to race downward. The taste of her skin was intoxicating to Cyrus. After a brief nuzzle of his nose against the back of her ear he stepped away from her.

"Leisurely walk or race?" Eyes hot and voice husky he hoped she would dart off, chasing suited his mood at the moment.
Fallon 17 years ago
Moaning with nearing unbridled lust, Fallon knew if she toyed with her man too long, he might reconsider and drop to the floor with her there. As wickedly wild as that seemed, she just couldn't quite push herself to do it.

So instead she smiled seductively, and put her hands on his shoulders, gently urging him to turn around. Once he had his back to her, she repeated what he had done, and both nuzzled his neck, as well as licked the back of it.

"Racing would be fun, but maybe not too practical since I don't have the layout of the house down yet. I'd hate to twist something on the way, and put a stop to our plans."

Her words were spoken hotly into his ear, which she then ran her tongue along the outside of. And slowly removing her hands, she then turned and made a mad dash for the door.

Not risking a glance behind her, Fallon ran as fast as she could, laughing hysterically all the way through the house towards the front door. She really had no doubts that Cyrus could easily catch her, but had to go on the assumption that he wouldn't but would rather race ahead to lie in wait.

Obediantly he turned at her urging. Letting her get a headstart was his intention and he was not expecting her to whisper so heatedly in his ear or tongue it. A small growl escaped his throat as she mentioned 'plans'. His mind surged forward, imagining those plans in great detail. So wrapped up in that image he missed the bunching of her muscles before she raced away. Still he let her escape before racing himself to the door.

Rather than help her he made his way to the courtyard door and out through the greenhouse, using his mind to open and shut the doors so he did not need to slow down. Shifting into leopard form he raced across the side of the house and driveway to the front of the older house. He could hear Fallon's laughter ringing out as he crouched in wait for her. The front door was closed behind him and their bedroom doors were open before him. Moving into the shdows of the couch he watched for his mate, ready to pounce upon the sly female.

Panting from the race, Cyrus could feel his arousal at a fevered pitch. Shifting back into human form, so he would not be tempted in feline form when she raced by he waited.
