Shoe addiction (Open)

Addison's step was light as he left Dubine. If he was going to meet his new boss tonight at the club, he was going to want a new pair of boots to go with his outfit. Weaving in and out of the busy sidewalks, he loosened his tie and shrugged out of his jacket, slinging it over his arm as he moved. The streets held assortments of different stores, catering to wants from the norm to extreme. Addison's gaze was caught by a store that sold only clothing to small dogs and cats. Weird.

Ah...and here we are. In between a shop advertising children's clothing and a cyber cafe...was a shoe and clothing store with more...creative tastes... Addison opened the door, and stepped inside, immediately spotting the shelves with the high, black leather boots he was desiring. He kept from making any happy little noises as he was pulled right to it with almost magnetic force.

(OOC: All are welcome. Addison is just getting some boots.)

Clerk 18 years ago
Zach scanned the two boxes and put both into a large shopping bag before taking the cash and counting out change. He had by this point completely given up on the prospect of cookies, especially when Danielle picked up her phone, but...oh, what's this? Come on come on come on...yes! He had enough presence of mind to go through the pleasantries of giving the dark haired woman her change and slipping the receipt into the bag before gleefully reaching into the offered box and taking three soft chewy chocolate chip cookies out.

"Hey, cookies, thanks! You guys have a great evening."Â?

Not one to take his time relishing good food, he rather gracelessly shoved all three cookies into his mouth with a wide grin.

Her bag in hand, Shay smiled and nodded to the two girls, gave the clerk a bit of a smirk...poor boy, must have been starving, and left the store. She still had a little time to check out other stores in the area, and see if she could come up with a decent outfit to wear tonight.

She too, had a bit of a bounce to her step.

Danielle took back the box of cookies, grinning at the clerk as he stuffed his face shamelessly. Nothing like entenmann's to brighten someone's day.

She tossed the scant remains of her tea into the wastebasket, said her goodbyes to Zach, and walked out with Claire to await the limo. While she didn't mind walking in the least, even several blocks, she had to admit that the company limo was one of the better perks of her job.

Moreover, it was prompt; the vehicle arrived shortly and the driver opened the door for the two ladies to step inside and be off to get ready for an evening of fun.

/ooc permission to move Claire (sorry it took so long O_o)
