New to town

The sun was bright when the mostly yellow car pulled into Nachton. Nyra drove around town checking out the neighborhoods.

She so wanted to have this show go over well. It could mean getting her paintings hung in a museum someday.

Finding a health food store, Nyra parked the car and wandered in. She quickly found fruits and veggies to suit her as well as some beans and tofu. Surely this will be a fun adventure! She hadn't been away from her mother since college. A month would not be too long of a time to do without her painting partner.

At the register she gently filled her own canvas bags with the produce and paid cash to the rather blank looking clerk.

Back outside under the sun, Nyra twirlled around and around all the way to her car. Her patchwork dress floated about her ankles as the bags of veggies swung lightly in her grip.

She started up her car with a soft click and almost inaudible purr. She drove around a park a few times and slowed down condierably to admire the Arch Museum of Art and the Vesper Gardens. All too soon she was in front of her studio.

The building appeared to be a converted warhouse like many others around it. The bottom half sported an odd clothing shop and fabric shop. Oddly enough hers appeared to be one of the few that had a multitude of windows installed. Odd but not too odd for a warehouse.

Grabbing her backpack and groceries she left the car and ventured to her new temporary home.
