The waves came in with a soft regular swish. The sea was calm, like the sky above it. Aislinn sat in the sand watching the sun go down in its fiery blaze, painting the sky and the ocean in pinks, oranges and crimsons. She had lost track of time having sat there for at least an hour deep in thought. She was considering looking for work. Not that she needed the money, with her share of the inheritance and the exchange rate moving over to the States, she was a millionaire here. She had checked her balance again today to find that the funds had finally cleared. She would never need worry for money.
But it was not money that drove her, it was boredom. She could not just continue to roam aimlessly. Getting a job would at least force her to be sociable, make friends, maybe even meet someone...special. She wondered what it would be like to go home to someone who loved her, paid her attention just for the fact she lived. Not someone after her wealth or title, to groom her into becoming just another member of the aristocracy. It was partly why she had left. Here she was completely unknown, and had done her best to try and lose whatever ghastly airs and graces she might have picked up growing up in the castle. It was not so much that she didn't like the upper class lifestyle, but to her it was too restricted, people choosing her friends for her, the circles of people she should be seen with. It was time to fit in, to be allowed to be herself somewhere. Working would allow this, wouldn't it?
She frowned as she shifted her weight off her now numb backside and stood, shaking life back into her limbs. She pulled her shirt tighter round herself. The sun had set now, and a pale moon was illuminating the quiet waters. Yes, she would find something to occupy herself with, something, or if she was lucky, even someone to give her a purpose in life, a direction to take.

She looked up at the pale orb of light hanging in the sky and suddenly smiled. She would worry about a job tomorrow, tonight she would enjoy the night again. She closed her eyes, feeling the sand under her bare feet and the moonlight on her skin. She raised her arms in an almost pagan reverence, and then oblivious to anyone who might have been watching, she twirled in the sand, spinning around with her arms outstretched like she used to do on the shores of the loch by her home, until she landed giggling in a dizzy heap on the sand.

A smile began to appear on her lips, her eyes darkening with increasing passion. Fallon was thoroughly enjoying Aislinn's timid yet wonderful touches, and felt things stir to life as if gray coals being stirred from a slumbering heat to a raging fire.

"Ah!" She gasped, feeling the unexpected but hungered for caress of her breast. Fallon's eyes had closed involuntarily when Aislinn first returned her touches, but flew open now to meet the lovely blond's own eyes. Afraid the moment might change, and Aislinn might wake up from this dream, Fallon's hands took hold of the slightly taller woman's hips, and pulled her closer. Sliding her soft fingertips across Aislinn's satiny ass, Fallon returned caresses of her own, and reveled in the lush mounds she now cupped in her own hands.

Her eyes had drifted from Aislinn's eyes, to her breasts, and landed on the taught peaks centered there. Throwing all caution to the wind, Fallon leaned but only slightly forward, and took the firm pebble between her teeth, loving it with her tongue, and holding Aislinn captive within her embrace. Her fingers now gripping the blond woman's lower cheeks more firmly, massaging the muscles there, and pressing the two women closer at the junction of their legs. Moving as if on some remote control, Fallon ground her pelvis forward, and shuddered as the old familiar sensations of an orgasm were beginning. It had been so long that she now knew it was just a matter of time before she would be overcome with the bliss she had been missing.

"Oh god...you taste delicious, and feel incredible...but..."

The war in Fallon's head was building. She wanted to prolong this experience, yet she wanted to reach fulfillment now. She also wanted Aislinn to achieve contentment, and understand just how awesome such a feeling should be. Having sex in the ocean wasn't great at best, and Fallon longed to be home in her own bed where the added comfort would only amplify the experience for them both.

"...maybe we should go back to my place?"

Not knowing where Aislinn lived, but knowing her own home wasn't far had prompted Fallon to make the suggestion. Once the words left her mouth she began yet another battle in her head, but at least had the knowledge that whatever might happen tonight, it would not effect anyone else, unless she let it.

The Scot gasped at the sudden jolt of pleasure that coursed through every fibre of her body as Fallon suckled her breast. Never in her life had she felt anything like it. She offered no resistance as Fallon pulled her closer. She felt her shudder beneath her touch and wondered if she was also feeling such sensations. Apart from the vast amount of books she had read in her lifetime that gave her some idea of what was expected, she had no experience but she wanted Fallon to feel like she did now. So wanted, loved, warm and tingling in places she didn't know could tingle.
Words reached through her dream, through the haze of warmth. She nodded her response. She would go anywhere to feel like this again, and she assumed Fallon's home was much closer than her hotel. She brushed her hand across Fallons other breast then slowly backed away towards the sand. She didn't know just how close Fallon's home was, but wasn't going to walk around in the dark naked. She quickly pulled on her jeans and T-shirt, and picked up her boots, staying barefoot. She then waited patiently for Fallon, her eyes drinking in the sight of her bathed in the moonlight. She shivered in anticipation, wishing this night could last forever.

Making the decision before Aislinn agreed was a done deal. Fallon just saw no way the younger woman would back out now. It wasn't conceit, but more a knowing of how she felt, and how she imagined the pretty blond felt too. And even if something had come up to change Aislinn's mind, Fallon was pretty adept at exerting her own influence if need be. She recalled a time a year or so ago, when she'd met up with pretty Tristan, and how she'd mentally convinced him to do her bidding. Of course she hadn't been a married woman then, but she was confident that she hadn't lost her touch being out of practice.

Her skirt and tank top were in place about the same time Aislinn had finished dressing, and Fallon quickly took the girl's hand. It would have been so much nicer if they could have both just shifted and taken the distance on four feet, instead of two, but Fallon knew the delay would only cause the need, and desire to build.

"Not too far, just through the trees up there."

Nodding toward the upper corner of the shoreline, where the trees were thick, Fallon ran laughing. Her entire body seemed to sing of excitement, and the area between her legs was nearly dripping with anticipation.

The journey home was quick, though not as quick as she knew it could have been. Happily seeing all the lights in the house were out, Fallon tugged Aislinn in the direction of the lanai. Once inside the garden area, surrounded by gardenias, plumeria, and roses all in bloom, a faint glow coming from the moon overhead, and the sound of waterfalls filling the air Fallon paused for a second or two to allow Aislinn time to admire her surroundings. Yes, Suki really had done most of the work in pulling Ger Kogji together, none the less Fallon was quite proud of her own endeavors, and involvement, and took a great deal of credit for the area they now stood in.

"Welcome to Ger Kogji, which is Mongol for 'home'. It was my husband's idea, but now I can't think of it as anything but..."

Thinking there was no need to bother with clothes any longer, and wanting to resume the delectible play they had been enjoying, Fallon again pulled off her clothes, and tossed them onto a close chaise. Hoping Aislinn's eyes were again on her body, Fallon held her arms out,and spun around a few times with reckless abandon, as if she were some goddess paying homage to the moon that shined overhead. Turning and taking a couple steps away, and toward the house, Fallon spoke lustily, looking over her nude shoulder.

"Follow me?"
Aislinn Ross 15 years ago
Aislinn stared in awe around the gardens. Even the stately gardens of her home did not match this. She turned to Fallon to remark upon it but found that the garden was dull compared to her new friend. She watched entranced as Fallon did exactly what she herself had done on the beach and spun in circles. Aislinn peeled off her clothes as she walked, leaving them lying where she dropped them, finding a strange new freedom in being nude. Another thing she had never done before. This woman brought out strange things in her that was for sure. She grinned at Fallon's request and bounded up the path to walk beside her, looping her fingers around Fallon, placing her trust in her.
Fallon 15 years ago
It would be a lie to say Fallon took Aislinn's looks for granted, or was unmoved by them. It was true she had become accustomed to the way Cyrus gazed on her body, but even then she reveled in the sensations it caused in her, rather than take them for granted. She hoped she never became so jaded that a look of hunger, and desire would be overlooked by her.

In turn, just like the sight of Cyrus' strong male body gave Fallon palpitations, whenever she glimpsed Aislinn, she imagined the same look of hunger must have been plastered upon her face. The problem now though was in trying to keep the young woman motivated, and have the evening go the way she wanted, Fallon had to concentrate more on paying attention to her surroundings, and not giving Aislinn the chance to become uninterested.

Taking Aislinn's offered hand, Fallon pulled it behind her, and settled it on the skin of her hip. Fallon's own hand did the same, before sliding up the other woman's side, and cupping her breast in much the same way she'd held Fallon's.

Entering the master bedroom, soft ambient lighting automatically came on, and tall palms in corners were illuminated, bringing the feel of the tropical lanai inside the home. When they were in the center of the room, and closer to the bed, Fallon pulled Aislinn into an embrace, and placed a soft kiss on the lips of her soon to be lover.

Intending to just whet Aislinn's appetite more, Fallon was going to break the kiss, and move to turn down the bed. Yet the feel of the woman's soft, moist, and sweet lips was nearly Fallon's undoing. The chaste kiss deepened rapidly, taking a much more firm, and intense path. Fallon threw caution to the wind, and took several moments exploring Aislinn's mouth with her own, while rubbing her hands over every square inch of the satiny skin she held in her embrace.

Moans began coming from deep within Fallon's core, and as an especially loud one was emitted, Fallon stopped, and blushed, pulling back a few inches to take stock of her charge.

"Are you sure you're ready for what comes next?"

Fallon's eyes drunk in Aislinn's expression, and the beauty she saw. It was a ludicrous question really, since Aislinn had no idea what it really meant to Fallon, but it was something Fallon had to ask, and at least give some credence to. It was also somewhat moot, since Fallon was nearly positive she had entrapped Asilinn, and the chances of the young woman backing out now were next to nil.

The illusion of choice would go a long way, and Fallon always liked giving that illusion whenever possible.
Aislinn Ross 15 years ago
Aislinn opened her eyes again when Fallon pulled away from the kiss. She stares at Fallon's face, memorising every inch of it, then giggles at her question. She gently shoves her back onto the bed and looks down upon her with hungry look, her lips slightly parted.

"Aislinn means 'dream'." she suddenly says cryptically, pronouncing her name the Gealic way (Aysh-leen) but still recognisable even to foreign ears. She slowly lays down alongside Fallon, kisses the tip of her nose softly then her lips. Her hand gently caresses Fallon's neck, moving slowly down over her breasts and firm stomach as her kiss intensifies. After a moment she pulls away from the kiss and looks down on Fallon again, almost as if seeking approval. Her gold eyes show her desire even as she smiles again. She then traces her tongue along her collarbone down her breast, then soflty takes the nipple in her soft lips and suckles, a soft moan escaping her as she does so.
Fallon 15 years ago
The giggle was hard fought, but Fallon won in the end. Aislinn was turning out to be an even bigger surprise, and the last thing Fallon wanted to do was make the young woman self conscious by laughing at such a time as this. Besides, Fallon liked the assertiveness she was seeing...it told her Aislinn was not too timid or prudish to try new things. The pretty blond may be a virgin, but she seemed to have all the right parts, in the right places, and the wherewithal to put them to proper use.

"Dream huh? Seems fitting to me."

And again Fallon tried to remain serious. That this entire evening since she reached the beach had a surreal feel about it, hearing Aislinn meant 'dream' seemed more of a coincidence. Fallon ignored explaining her own name, which meant leader, since she always felt that was some kind of joke. When had she ever lead anyone anywhere?

"Your accent is lovely." Fallon whispered, after gasping at the feel of the lips and tongue on her breast. If she hadn't already been turned on, that would have surely jump started her engine. Since she had been turned on at the beach, the sensations in her body only intensified and it now seemed as if things were moving too slowly.

Rolling with Aislinn, Fallon turned the two over until she was on top, and nestled between the other woman's legs. Sliding her hands up Aislinn's sides, she captured her hands, and held them above her.

"It does things to me." She smiled down at Aislinn with a gentle, yet desire filled gaze, just before she smothered the woman below her with hot kisses, in much the way she had just been kissed. Lavishing Aislinn's nipples with nips of her teeth, and laps of her tongue, Fallon paid both homage. It was both different, having sex with a woman, yet oddly familiar. Fallon really thought her own body was responding as if connected to Aislinn's, so each swirl of her tongue around the nipples was felt both on her tongue, and her nipples simultaneously. If she hadn't been so enthralled with all the sensations she might have taken time to analyze the matter.

Again feeling as if the pace needed to be picked up...it had been a while...she moved down Aislinn's soft belly, licking the velvety skin, feeding one hunger growing inside. She bathed her belly button, but didn't linger there. Moving down the bed, using her hands in accompaniment with her mouth, Fallon sought to pleasure Aislinn, but wasn't forsaking her own needs. Each touch, each taste, each scent she experienced, only served to make her own body respond as if it was she who was being made love to.

Fallon's needs were growing. When she reached the special place between Aislinn's legs, and placed her mouth there, she wasted no time. Her tongue delved deeply, her fingers parting the flesh, and again aiding in the process. She was gentle at first, but her ministrations escalated as the fever inside her did the same. She wanted to caution Aislinn...to tell her if anything Fallon did was unpleasant, and she'd stop. But she didn't because she knew that would be impossible, unless physically forced to stop.
Aislinn Ross 15 years ago
She was about to thank Fallon for the compliment of her accent when she suddenly found herself on her back and Fallon nestled between her legs. The warmth of another body against hers brought on strange feelings, anothers hands exploring her body touching deeper than her skin. She found herself closing her eyes, savouring the caresses. She gave a soft gasp as she felt warm wetness enclose her nipples as jolts of pleasure traversed her body. She almost cried out when Fallon released her breasts, until she felt the hot kisses moving lower and lower. She held her breath in anticipation, not really sure what was coming next but not wanting it to stop either.
She felt Fallon move further down, then fingers touching her down there. She tensed momentarily, suddenly unsure, until she felt Fallons gentle probing with her tongue. Any doubts were now gone as her held breath seemed to explode from her in response to the furnace that seemed to have been lit below. She was lost to everything as the sensations washed over her, giving into instinct as she arched her back, a loud moan escaping her lips.
Fallon 15 years ago
Aislinn didn't stop her. The woman below her was enjoying everything Fallon did. In fact Fallon was now pretty sure if she did stop that would elicit displeasure from Aislinn. Perfect.

Once Fallon realized her goal was being achieved the hunger in her rose. This wasn't a sexual hunger, though that remained a definite need inside her, but the hunger that she was to appease before she slept...the hunger she faced every day, whether she and Cyrus had made love or not.

There was a slight debate to be fought in her head, since she had allowed herself to get closer to Aislinn than she had anyone else in the past. Of course there had been that girl at the convenience store, months...no over a year ago now, that she really did like as a person. But since then, even with Tristan, Fallon had managed to remain aloof, and able to just provide the illusion of friendship. A part of her brain was telling her that was all this encounter was...an illusion of friendship. The debate ensued when the other part of her brain admonished such thoughts, and tried to get her to admit she felt more this time.

Probably due to the sexual need also being present, Fallon gave way to any rational thoughts, and pushed forward. Never missing a beat, her fingers, and mouth mounting a tender assault on Aislinn's flesh, Fallon quickly dismissed any arguments either way, and ruled what would be, would be.

As her finger probed deeper into the young woman's hot core, she found what she assumed was her virginal barrier. Pushing a bit more firmly, Fallon chose not to break the barrier, and retreated slightly. There was no reason to remove that part of Aislinn's physical being, when Fallon planned to remove another part. Instead she kept nibbling at the silky skin of Aislinn's thighs, while one hand mimicked what a man's appendage would have done, and her other hand concentrated on the sensitive bud hidden within the folds of skin there. It was very well orchestrated, and surprisingly didn't really require a great deal of focus by Fallon. Somehow she knew what to do, based on the understanding of her body, and what she liked.

Aislinn's squirming, and arching did nothing to slow Fallon down. If anything she mentally grinned, and intensified her movements. Her own satisfaction now put aside, replaced by the more important hunger, Fallon found a pulsing source of blood just at the most tender spot of flesh where Aislinn's leg met her groin. Fallon not only felt the beating blood beneath, but when mixed with the scent of Aislinn's sex, she could have sworn she also smelled the blood there. The whole experience was getting perilously close to driving Fallon mad with desire.

She wasn't sure what alerted her, perhaps it was the increasing spasms inside Aislinn, that clamped around Fallon's fingers...or the wetness her lover was producing from deep within...but whatever it was, Fallon knew her new lover was getting close.

"Yes? Do you like that? Should I stop, or do you want me to go on?"

Her words were muffled, but she didn't doubt Aislinn heard her. Fallon had always loved it when she could push Cyrus to this point, and often teased him as well, knowing full well he never would have allowed her to stop at this point. But with Aislinn there was also a small thought that she should give Fallon permission, even if she really had no clue what that permission entailed.

"Tell me baby...tell Fallon what you want..."
Aislinn Ross 15 years ago
"Oh my god don't stop...don't stop." she whispered huskily. She felt Fallon pause, felt her hot breath on her inner thighs, each warm caress sending shivers through her of which she had no control over. She wrapped her lower legs around Fallon, stroking her lower back with her feet in time with her writhing on the bed. "Please don't stop...."
Fallon 15 years ago
The pause was really only long enough for Fallon to speak, and once the words were out she resumed her assault. Truth be told, Fallon was so caught up in the moment that even if Aislinn had tried to stop her, she wouldn't have been successful. Fallon was gone. What was left in her place was a woman so full of hunger that...well, there was no point in visiting the 'what ifs'...permission had been freely given.

At the crucial moment...the moment when the body tenses, and all feeling seems to be forced to that one spot of pleasure...that spot that then generates outward filling the entire body with delight...at that moment, without thinking, Fallon bit.

While her fingers still rubbed Aislinn's pleasure point, while her other hand continued to penetrate the moist entrance to Aislinn's body, Fallon's mouth danced over the pulsing spot between Aislinn's thigh, and her sex. As if her own body was reaching satisfaction, and she was overcome with sensations, Fallon's lips sucked in the succulent flesh beneath, and let her fangs sink deeply into the sweetness there.

The warm, delicious blood began to flow, and Fallon drank. As if separated from herself, her mouth and hands acted independent of each other, never stopping the ministrations she had begun with her new charge, pushing the orgasm as far as it could go. Her brain told her to stop. Her brain told her Aislinn was finished. Her brain told her she had fed enough. Her body pushed her onward.

It really had been much too long.

At some point Fallon was shaken by the realization that the woman beneath her no longer moved. When this realization penetrated her brain, she did stop. Fortunately the walls in the manor were sound-proofed, or the scream that was then emitted would have shook Nachton to its core.
Fallon 15 years ago
Knowing what she had done, Fallon refused to acknowledge it to begin with. First she shook Aislinn, as if the pretty blond was pulling a trick on Fallon. With no reaction, she pulled Aislinn up into her arms so she could listen for a heartbeat, heard the unmistakable death knell, and she knew she had two options. Unfortunately for Fallon, one wasn't really an option. She would not let Aislinn die.

Loath to consider the remaining option, Fallon was used to making decisions based on survival, in the quickest of manners, and did. It was this ability that had allowed her to survive, herself, in the past, and was going to do the same for Aislinn. Should the young woman decide later that she would have preferred the other option, Fallon mentally vowed she would do whatever she could to rectify matters if that day came. But if she didn't act quickly, there would be no possible chance for any other options at all.

Using her fingernail, sharper than most probably due to her recent cat shifting, Fallon pushed the point into the soft skin above her breast until her blood, mixed with that of Aislinn's, began to flow. Pressing the other woman's mouth to the bleeding wound, Fallon spoke in soothing, but firm tones.

"Suckle baby...drink...drink! This is for you, so you may live...drink!"

Her own turning was a distant memory, that had never been all to clear to begin with. Most of what Fallon did now, she did more out of instinct than anything else.

Holding Aislinn's mouth to her breast, Fallon ruffled the girl's long hair in an attempt to rouse her to the point where she would drink. The longer Aislinn remained passive, and quiet, the harder Fallon's attempts grew.

"Drink, damnit! Now!"
Aislinn Ross 15 years ago
Where one minute a furnace had seemed to be burning through her body, the next she was cold. It was so damned cold her body had lost all feeling, her mind thick and heavy. All she wanted to do was sleep, to embrace the dark oblivion where it wasn't cold. But something wouldn't let her go, something shaking her, then pulling her close. From some far off place she could hear words spoken but they were muffled as though underwater. She tried to speak, to answer but her tongue would not obey. Fear began to work its way into her mind. She tried to fight against the invading darkness, taking strength from the fear.
Then from nowhere came warmth. Something warm and wet on her lips, a familiar scent of a woman. Again as if from far away she heard words, but this time could make one out...Drink. Without thinking she obeyed, forcing her tongue into movement again, licking her cold lips of the warm fluid. She didn't taste the first few mouthfuls, only registering the warmth of it as it travelled down inside her, breathing feeling back into her. Only after a moment did she taste the salty metallic taste and opened her eyes to Fallon's worried look. Suddenly it hit her. She was drinking Fallon's blood. She blinked then pulled her mouth away from her breast, not strong enough to break free of Fallon's hold but strong enough to speak, though her confused look would have asked the question for her.

"What the...?"
Fallon 15 years ago
It was a small bit of relief once Fallon felt Aislinn begin to suck. The image of a mother feeding her child flashed before her, then vanished just as quickly. A heavy blanket of fear settled on Fallon's shoulders, even though she tried to shake it off.

She hadn't wanted this. All in the world she'd wanted was to feed, and enjoy a little physical pleasure...introduce Aislinn to ways of sex, and release some of her own frustrations at the same time. Turning someone was probably the farthest thing she could ever think of doing. Yet here she sat, doing exactly that.

"Later...keep drinking...I'll...we'll talk in a bit but for now..." Fallon's hand insistently pressed Aislinn forward, urging her to keep sucking.

Soon Fallon felt a slight weakening, and pushed Aislinn off. Moistening her finger between her lips, she wiped a stray drop of red off her breast, to see the skin slowly, and nearly imperceptibly begin to knit. Being a very new vampire, by regular standards, Fallon didn't heal as quick as Cyrus did, by a long shot. Yet her blood coagulated quite rapidly, and soon there was just a small cut remaining.

Focusing on the women before her, Fallon's mind raced. When she had turned, she had been mad as hell, though she hoped Aislinn's experience hadn't been as traumatic as hers had been with Panos. Feeling a little vulnerable herself, Fallon slid off the bed, and pulled a robe from the back of her closet door. Another clean robe was removed from a hanger, and placed next to Aislinn on the bed. Fallon pulled her robe close, before sitting in a nearby chair. Having some distance was more to give Aislinn room, and not have her feel penned in, rather than to protect Fallon.

"Shit. I don't know where to start..."

She shook her head, and took a deep breath. This, again, was an attempt to give Aislinn space to do whatever she needed to do for her own comfort. Fallon would relax later, once what was to come next, had passed.
Aislinn Ross 15 years ago
When Fallon finally released her Aislinn simply lay there on the bed staring at the ceiling. She could still taste blood on her lips and licked them, finding that she actually enjoyed the taste. This only heightened her sense that something was definately not right. Apart from feeling like she'd had ten rounds with Mike Tyson, she desperately wanted to sleep. But she was afraid to sleep. She felt different although she couldn't say how. She ran her tongue along her lips again and felt the points, wondering if her teeth had always felt so sharp. She wiggled her fingers, ignoring the slight pain as feeling rushed back into her numb limbs. She went through the same ritual with her toes still staring at the ceiling even as she heard Fallon place the robe next to her.
After a moment she turned her head to look at Fallon. She became suddenly conscious of still being stark naked and with great effort pulled the robe over herself although didn't get up. She stared at Fallon, this woman with whom she had just met and been intimate with and whose blood she had drunk. Why had she done that? Why had she got so weak all of a sudden? She didn't even recall Fallon biting her, so lost she had been in her own ecstacy that she hadn't noticed anything wrong until it had been too late.

"Who are you?" she asked softly. Then as if on an afterthought added more softly more to herself. "Who am I?
Fallon 15 years ago
It occurred to Fallon that to remain seated where she was, put too much distance between the two women. She could see Aislinn was anything but hostile, and even if she were to become upset once she heard 'the news', Fallon didn't think she'd be a problem to restrain. Fallon now remembered how weak she had been after her turning, and even more memories of that night flooded in. But now was not the time for a walk down memory lane. She owed Aislinn an explanation, if not a lot more, and the sooner she got to it, the better off they'd both be.

Moving to sit next to the reclining young woman, Fallon put a gentle hand on the soft arm, now partially covered by the splayed robe.

"I am...well, let me preface this by saying you probably won't believe what I'm about to tell you...trite as that sounds...but I assure you it won't be a lie. If anything, try to just listen, and take in everything I say, and when I've finished you can ask me anything you'd like."

Again she took a breath, not so much for the oxygen it might have provided, but in order to calm her nerves a little. She removed her hand to her lap, but remained close enough to offer comfort if needed.

"I am what's known as a vampire. I became one a couple years ago when I stumbled into Nachton, and was kidnapped by a rogue vampire. In some ways, your's and my circumstances were a little similar, in that my sire never intended to turn me, but did so because things got a little out of hand. When I met you tonight I never intended on turning you either, and for that I apologize, and am ashamed. Things just got out of control, and before I knew it I had fed too heavily from you."

She paused then, just to focus on Aislinn, and try to gage the other woman's emotional state. But she then barreled forward, wanting to get the entire explanation out before she lost her nerve, or Aislinn flipped out and became too outraged for Fallon to continue.

"As to what a vampire is...I'm sure you've seen movies, or read books. Unfortunately most of what you read is true. We cannot be outside in the sunlight, as it will burn our flesh, but we can be awake during the day. It's just easier to move about during the night.

We do need blood to exist, but how you obtain that blood, and the kind of blood you exist on varies according to tastes, and desires. My husband secures us sufficient blood and we keep adequate stores of it here at Ger Kogji, so that I don't need to feed off anyone if I choose not to. Personally, I think the bottled is as tasty as fresh, but I find the emotional connection...the feeling of being close to another person, while feeding, to be attractive."

Fallon shrugged then, as if again apologizing in a way, for feeding off Aislinn.

"I do have the ability to feed, and do it in a way that the donor is none the wiser. That was my intent tonight..."

Her voice trailed off as she became somber again. This situation she had gotten herself into was becoming more and more ugly the longer she sat with it. She had killed tonight...killed a person, not an animal during a hunt, but a person...and innocent...and she was more than disgusted with herself.

"I'm sorry Aislinn...I wish I could go back and change things...the night wasn't supposed to end like this...but nothing I can do or say will make any of that different now."

A sharp pain in her finger reminded Fallon she had picked up an old bad habit, and torn a hang nail she had been picking at. Without thought she put her finger in her mouth, and licked the wound clean.

She also stopped her explanation now, to give Aislinn time to adjust a little to what Fallon had said, and to see how she would react. This kind of conversation seemed easier if presented in parts, Fallon now decided. Whether that would turn out to be true was something Fallon would learn tonight. As Aislinn was learning of becoming a vampire, Fallon was learning what it meant to be responsible for turning someone.
Aislinn Ross 15 years ago
Aislinn was silent for a few minutes as she digested this information.

"Vampire..." She said, neither statement nor question, she simply had to say the word out loud for it to sink in. Well that would explain the blood anyway, and perhaps the growing hunger she was feeling. But then, she also hadn't eaten since the afternoon and it was now nearly morning. Morning. She turned her head towards the window, noticing the faint pink hue to the sky, the coming of dawn. If Fallon spoke true, she could never watch another sunrise. She bit her lip. As much as she loved the night, she did enjoy the daytime too, especially the dawn when everything was just awaking.

Surely it was all a dream. There were no such things as vampires...was there? She slowly propped herself up on an elbow, closing her eyes against the threatening dizzyness until she felt she could open them again, and looked back at Fallon. She studied the woman, who seemed uneasy watching her back as though waiting for her to erupt. True, Aislinn did have a fiery temper, but she also had been raised not to dwell on that which could not be changed. If she really was now a vampire and Fallon (whom she now considered the authority on the matter) said there was no way back, then she wasn't going to waste what little energy she had right now on having a hissy fit.

All the stories and legends she had heard in her lifetime came to her now. She knew she had to have been bitten although she couldn't recall having been so, and instinctively raised a hand to her neck searchingly. She then glanced around the room for a mirror, wondering if she would be able to see herself. Catching her reflection she saw that she looked a little pale, but definately there. She was beginning to feel a bit stupid now believing this vampire business and she sat up further, letting the robe slip onto her lap as she did so, for now ignoring her nudity. She turned her attention to Fallon again.

"Are you kidding me? I mean....don't I have to die or something first? I only passed out breifly...didn't I?" A touch of worry was in the last question. She couldn't deny the strange feelings stirring within her or her exhaustion, but she wasn't quite convinced enough to put it down to something as far fetched as that. She awaited Fallon's answer, looking for some sign of deceit or joking but deep down knew Fallon spoke true.

After awhile, Fallon noticed her mouth was open, and her jaw was nearly resting on her chest. Whatever she expected from Aislinn, it wasn't this calm, and dispassionate attitude, not when she had just told the woman she was, in effect, dead.

"Yes, well, I believe that's the way it goes. I'm sorry my husband isn't here, he explains things so much better, and, well, he's been doing this for hundreds of years...I'm still such a novice."

Fallon noticed Aislinn was looking for her 'bite', and when she didn't see it on her neck, was sure it only added to the blond girl's confusion.

"Um...down here..." She motioned first to Aislinn, then lightly touched her own body at the junction where evidence would be visible.

"I, well, yes, I...got carried away."

This time her apology was a rather casual shrug, and a tiny, somewhat embarrassed smile. Right now she was trying to concentrate on Aislinn, while also trying to remember how she felt that fateful night she joined the ranks.

"Morning!" Fallon gasped. The blinds in the master suite were set to automatically close, an hour before dawn, and she could hear them sliding into place now. But because her own feeding had been a bit depleted, and Aislinn had only drunk enough to bring her back to the world, Fallon knew they both should feed again, else risk waking up ravenous. Jumping up from her seat, Fallon made a mad dash for the kitchen, and returned in record time with a bottle, and two champagne flutes. Once she'd opened the bottle and poured the dark brownish red liquid, she realized how silly she had been in her choice of glasses.

Handing one to Aislinn, she set the nearly empty bottle on the night stand, and raised her flute.

"Forgive me if this seems inappropriate, but it seems to me this type of life...altering occasion should be marked with a toast."

She made her toast quietly, not in the flamboyant manner most toasts were given, but with a sincere hope that Aislinn would come to accept, and appreciate her new life. Fallon had, and that seemed to be some testament to something.

But then Fallon had Cyrus to guide her, and love her. Who would Aislinn have...besides Fallon?

Sensing the girl might be afraid, or timid to drink, Fallon motioned for her to do just that.

"You need to drink that. Morning is coming and we will need to sleep soon. If you don't go to bed with a fully belly, you'll wake up in a not-so-nice mood."

She frowned a little but then drank the contents of her glass, as if it were mother's milk, and waited for Aislinn to do the same.

"You'll stay here, at least today, later we can talk more about your future and what you'll need to do..."

Her words trailed off. Fallon hated not having options for Aislinn, but to survive this new life she had certain rules she would need to obey, and Fallon was going to be there to make sure she knew them, and followed them, at least while in her care. However long Aislinn needed her, Fallon would be there.

While Fallon was out of the room Aislinn examined herself and found the bite mark. A shiver ran through her and she wondered just what kind of place she had come to. She stared at the automatic blinds shutting her away from the outside world and tried to suppress the growing feeling of claustrophobia. While Aislinn did lock her doors at night, she had always slept with the windows open.

By the time Fallon returned she had managed to pull the robe on and was sitting somewhat haphazardly on the bed. She had no intentions of attempting to stand yet and knew she was extremely vulnerable in her condition but she had to trust Fallon. Fallon who had killed her. Aislinn watched her as she poured a dark liquid into two champagne flutes, remembering those same hands had given her so much pleasure only a short time ago. The whole night had been surreal, from the dance on the beach to having sex with a woman she had only just met. So being handed a glass of blood didn't seem quite so odd as it might have done although the sensible voice in her head was ringing alarm bells which she chose to ignore just now.

She watched Fallon raise her glass in a toast then down the glass. Aislinn raised the glass to eye level, peering at the dark red liquid inside it. Part of her was repulsed by the idea and she almost let go of the glass. But her body had other ideas, she could almost feel every fibre of her being crying out for it. She could not have resisted it if she had tried, and she quickly brought it the rest of the way to her lips and drank it down hungrily.

She put the glass down on the table next to the bottle, her eyes lingering a moment on it as she wondered if she was imagining that her vision seemed sharper. But now fatigue was beginning to win the battle and she lowered herself back down, lying on her side watching Fallon. She was now a little afraid of this woman, although just the thought of her touch made her skin tingle even in her current state. It would all be alright in the morning; she'd wake up in her hotel room with the sunlight streaming down on her and she'd laugh at herself for having such strange dreams. Yes, it would be alright... her eyes grew heavy and she half smiled at Fallon.

"Do vampires sleep?"

"I must say, you're much more understanding than I was when this happened to me. At least the experience for your was better to begin with...I mean with us having sex, instead of you being kidnapped. Not that I'm offering excuses...but its not like I could change things now if I wanted." But knowing that didn't absolve Fallon, or make her feel any less guilty, even though she tried desperately to ignore those feelings.

She was glad to see Aislinn wasn't fighting the fact that she had to drink to survive. She was glad to be there for Aislinn, and not worry about the girl being thrust out into the world with no knowledge of her new life, and condition. The white kitten didn't visit Fallon as much as she had in the past, and when she did Fallon was becoming almost comfortable with the apparition, yet it was nothing she would wish on anyone else. Hopefully, if she could help guide Aislinn into the night, she wouldn't suffer in any way similar to the way Fallon had.

Fallon moved to the bed table, picked up the glasses and bottles, carried them to a table outside the bedroom doors, and then closed the doors behind her after she re-entered the bedroom. A lock bolted the two women inside, for added protection, though Fallon was so used to the sound she didn't even hear it anymore.

The soft, innocent smile that greeted her as she approached the bed tugged at her heart. There was a lot more to Aislinn than Fallon imagined upon their first meeting, and she was looking forward to finding out more about her new charge.

"Yes, sweet, vampires sleep, and soon, once we have slept, we will awaken, and I will begin to explain more. But for now..."

She returned the smile with one she hoped showed the caring feeling growing inside Fallon, then removed her robe, and climbed onto the bed to lie behind Aislinn. Hugging her spoon fashion, then pulling the sheet over both their bodies, Fallon relaxed. She hoped the hug would be comforting, but didn't fear the girl's rejection the way she had earlier. She positioned herself indeed to soothe Aislinn, and help her fall asleep quickly, but she also wanted the feel of Aislinn's body close to her own, for her own comfort.

"...for now, hush..."

Stroking her fingers lightly, up and down Aislinn's arm, humming softly into the young woman's ear, Fallon could feel sleep pulling at her strongly now herself. But she resisted, wanting to make sure Aislinn did fall asleep, and didn't try anything foolish. She wanted to try and come up with an agenda for the coming night, so she was prepared and would begin Aislinn's tutelage on the right foot.

But try as she might, she found her resolve just wasn't enough to stave off the coming day, and soon Fallon was asleep.
