1) Describe your characters personality:
Mischa can be charming, witty, and pleasant to be around. On the other hand her smile masks a ruthless intelligence and lethal amorality that has made her both respected and feared. She has been a killer most of her life, and is indifferent towards most humans whom she considers an inferior species.
On the other hand Mischa is extremely loyal, tolerant and respectful to her Pack mates and has no hesitation about carrying out orders from her superiors (no matter how unpleasant).
2) Describe how your character would appear to a stranger:
Mischa tends to wear colour coordinated figure hugging tops/shirts and pants with leather boots, belt and jacket. Black, white, and red seem to be her favourite colours. She usually wears a stylish pair of lightly tinted sunglasses that adjust to the intensity of the sunlight.
Around the Pack, Mischa likes to relax in army fatigues.
3) Character Likes:
Mischa likes working out a lot. She endures a punishing exercise and sparring routine.
Mischa likes to fight, especially against men. Mischa is a particularly nasty street fighter and is extensively trained in Western Boxing as well as the more brutal Muay Thai Kickboxing.
Mischa likes watching 80’s and 90’s American action films and TV shows. She finds the over the top heroics and big explosions very amusing. Her favourite TV show is “The A Team.”
4) Character Dislikes:
Mischa dislikes humans who are self-righteous, arrogant and/or patronizing. In her experience, that tends to be most men.
Mischa dislikes taxidermists. She is disturbed by the stuffing and displaying of animals. She regards taxidermy as one of the worst human occupations.
Mischa has little respect for law enforcement types. This stems from her negative experiences during the bad old days of the Soviet Union.
6) Character Fears?
Mischa fears the destruction of the Pack. The wolf culls in Russia are a painful reminder of how easily a determined mob of humans can butcher and murder animals out of sheer ignorance and fear.
Mischa fears being thought of as weak by the Pack. This fear has made Mischa work hard at proving her loyalty and usefulness to her Pack mates.
Mischa fears sleeping and tries to do so in a secure location at all times. Sleeping is the one time she feels truly vulnerable.
7) Character's strengths?
Mischa is an exceptional sniper and marksman with a rifle, whether using a scope or traditional sights. She has carried a rifle since she was a child and is an expert shot. Mischa also has extensive training and experience in unarmed combat, knife fighting, small arms combat and explosive/incendiary ordinance.
Mischa excels in designing and creating explosive and incendiary devices. She can create everything from crude pipe bombs and improvised booby traps made from everyday products and implements, to sophisticated military grade devices. Mischa’s creative genius in this field is limited only by the resources available and time constraints.
Mischa has an eidetic memory and a genius level IQ. Unfortunately she tends to employ this ability for questionable and illegal activities. She earned the nickname ‘MacGyver’ for her ability to soak up information like a sponge and then apply it practically when the need arises. Mischa is truly a jack of all trades.
Character Weaknesses?
Amoral: Mischa can be highly amoral. She does not view things in terms of right or wrong, good or evil. There is only the welfare and strength of the Pack above all other considerations.
Sadistic: Mischa relishes inflicting pain on her opponents. Prolonged unarmed combat only heightens this arousal and makes her a dangerous and unpredictable adversary.
Speciesism: R’asa and Kadzait are superior to the weak furless mammals called humans. Pity humans if you must, but do not underestimate them.
Hobbies & Skills:
Mischa is a skilled card player. Poker and Blackjack are her speciality (usually to the regret of the Casino where she decides to gamble).
Mischa is an avid reader, although her books of choice tend to be controversial (and usually banned) ‘survivalist’ books and all sorts of technical manuals, educational material, and instruction books.
Mischa is known amongst certain underground circles as a skilled tattooist and innovative fire brander. Mischa makes custom metal brands and burns a tattoo into a willing client. Though she doesn’t advertise her ability or share her techniques, she never seems to have trouble finding a willing client wanting to be burnt by her. She finds the idea of branding humans most amusing.
Mischa is fluent in Russian and English (although she has a pronounced Russian accent to her English).

Personal History:
Mischa Karnovich was born into a close knit Kumpania that had roamed the forests and steppes of North Eastern Russia since the days of Ivan the Great. Mischa was raised in the harsh wilds and grew up with a rifle in one hand and a knife in the other.
Russia has a long history of intolerance and cruelty towards wolves, and Mischa’s Kumpania was one of a handful that had fought and skirmished over the centuries with the Tsar’s soldiers and later those of the Red Army to protect the local wolf population from being annihilated. This shadow war was a campaign of sabotage, assassination, and terror.
Mischa officially became a part of this war on her thirteenth year when she murdered four hunters who came north for a wolf cull. The truck the men were travelling in struck an improvised land mine and exploded spectacularly in a ball of flame.
Mischa was reported to have calmly shot at each burning man who tried to escape the inferno, prolonging the agony by putting bullets through their legs and arms. It was the first of many kills.
The soldiers of the Red Army came and went with the seasons, as did the ever cautious hunters. And then one winter no-one came hunting. Revolution had come again. The Kumpania were split on whether to maintain their eternal vigilance in the forests and steppes or try to help in the democratic reform of Russian society.
Mischa was indifferent towards this idea of ‘democracy’, but she desired to see the land that had put so much fear into the once great Soviet Union.
An agreement was reached after much debate. Some would maintain the vigil, some would try and guide the new Russia, and some, like Mischa, were given permission to go further afield and see what had become of the world and to re-establish ties with the Vyusher R’asa in Europe and the America’s.
Mischa arrived in the United States in the spring of 1993 and began the search...
