Description (if an NPC) or name of your creator/gifter (if a PC) (Please be as specific as possible, who your creator/gifter was, why he chose to change you, where he /she is now?): Cherish's gifter was a Scottish vampire by the name of Andurian Ansilaar. He had traveled to Ireland on business. Andurian had a large boat that he had built himself. Cherish was fascinated by its beauty. In fact, that is how they met. Cherish was sitting on the beach, painting the boat, when Andurian spotted her. She was challenging herself, painting by the light of the full moon. Andurian admired her spunk and dedication. Over the next few nights the two of them talked and spent time together. Cherish was almost mesmerized by Andurian. He had the gorgeous blue eyes, and fire as red as a fire. She felt safe around him, at ease. He was almost a foot taller than her, but she loved that fact.

One night while Cherish was walking to Andurian's boat, she was attacked. The mugger stabbed her in the chest. Andurian heard the scream and ran to see what it was. He killed the attacker. Cherish had blacked out and was fading fast. Andurian picked her up and bit her. He knew the wound she had was fatal. He gifted her with a new life, which was the only way he knew to save her.

Personal Questions

1. Describe your character's personality - Cherish is usually a very calm person, but she is very tied to her emotions. She also sees the beauty in the world, even after all the years of war she has seen. Cherish is a shy person, who takes awhile to warm up to new people. Once Cherish is your friend, she will be loyal to you till the end or you betray her trust.

2. Describe how your character would appear to a stranger - Inviting. Cherish dresses in very elegant clothes and sophisticated clothes. She loves to be comfortable. She carries herself with some confidence, as she has slowly outgrown a self consciousness that plagued her for years.

3. What does your character like? She likes to write and paint. She loves to watch people and how they react with the world. Cherish loves being loves to her love, Andurian.

4. Dislike? She dislikes violence, and will only turn violent when there are no other possible means. She strongly hates anyone that lies or betrays her.

6. What are your fears?

Fear of losing her Love - Andurian saved her and has stayed near her for all these years. The thought of losing him terrifies her.

Deep Water - Cherish loves to watch the oceans, lakes, and rivers of the world, but she is terrified to be in the water. When she was a child, she almost drowned, and ever since, she can't think of even stepping foot into deep water.

Losing herself - Cherish fears that one day the vampire inside of her will take over the last of her humanity. She has seen some beastly things over the years, and holds on to what she can of the human life.

7. What are your character's strengths and weaknesses?

Strengths:

Eagerness to learn - Cherish always wants to know about the latest new thing. From technology to art, if it's new she wants to learn about it. She has always been a person that constantly studies the subjects that interested her. She always seems to know what is going on in the world and the history behind it. This eagerness to learn has helped her blend into many new places.

Loyalty - Cherish is very loyal to friends and family. She will defend those that she is loyal to with all of her power.

Understanding - Cherish has a way of dealing with people and understanding them. She has been a mediator many times in her life between people that were feuding, ect.

Weaknesses:

Weak - Cherish is not as strong as other vampires physically. She does her best, but has never been very strong.

Over Emotional - Sometimes Cherish let's her emotions get to her and take over. This will cause her to ignore logic and get her in trouble. Cherish is easy to get spun up and frustrated. She will jump to conclusions easily when aggravated at something or someone, and this has gotten her in trouble many times as well.

Gullible - Cherish is easy to believe people. Many times she has been duped into situations that were not in her best interest because she believed someone that was being less than honest with her. The child like view of the world makes her an easy target to silver tongued manipulators.

Cherish is a talented artist, who loves to paint and draw. She also takes some photography. Her favorite kind of photography is black and white, which she later paints in sections of the photo with some color. She also loves to write stories and articles. Cherish usually has her laptop and at least one journal with her at almost all times. She carries them around in a leather satchel.

Her eagerness to learn has taught allowed her to teach herself several languages over the years which aides her in her travels. She tends to focus her studies on art and history though.

Cosmetic Traits (Distinct, character defining physical attributes. These should be minor and offer no real power other than to make your character appear more interesting.) Her hair is a darker red than a human's red hair would be. It's a very rich and striking color. Her eyes are a bright contrast to her dark hair. They are a brilliant blue. They stand out and catch your glimpse when you first look at her.

Quirks and Habits worthy of mention - Cherish fidgets with her necklaces and bracelets. It's a nervous habit from her overly shy days that she never did break. She is also rather clumsy and injures herself often in the silliest of ways.

Personal History

Cherish was born to a middle class family. Money was all right but never too plentiful. She learned early on to live for her own and make due with what she had. That is one of the reasons that she got into art and writing. It helped her escape into realms for fantasy, and it made it easier to ignore the harshness of her reality. She was also an only child. That, in itself, made her turning hard. She had to live behind her parents and Grandmother who were her world. To this day she struggles with still missing them.

When Andurian turned her, she felt a strong connection to him. He felt the same to her, and he talked to her often of the unexplainable want to have her near him. After years of traveling around together, Andurian and Cherish were married in a ceremony or sorts. It was a formal declaration of the connection they had to each other. Cherish started using Andurian's surname of Ansilaar. She often wondered how her family was doing back home, but knew that she couldn't go back to them in her new life. Andurian understood her being torn between the mortal life she once had and her new one. He did the best he could to teach her the ways of the vampires.

Andurian often spoke of being part of the Evenhet clan. He described it as a group of like minded vampires, one of which his maker was a part of. Andurian never talked much about his maker though. Cherish and Andurian had met a vampire from Evenhet a time or two during their travels across Europe, Asia, and the States, but never a large grouping of them. With Andurian away on business trip on the boat, Cherish decided to take a trip to Nachton. They had heard of a large grouping of Evenhet being there. Cherish was going to scout the area and possibly find a place to live, and Andurian would join her when he was done on the boat. She hated the boat, so never made those trips with him unless she "had"Â? to.
