Personal Questions
1. Describe your character's personality. Rene is very strong-willed, hard headed even, and once she's gotten her teeth in something, she's not likely to let it go until she's solved whatever mystery is there.
2. Describe how your character would appear to a stranger (I.E. typical dress, way they carry themselves etc.) Varies day to day, but anything comfy for working the "beat", usually a pair of jeans, light top with a leather jacket to hide the weaponry, usually in black, tho hints of various shades of green litter her wardrobe as well. Leans toward the sarcastic, definitely fiesty, loving mother and daughter, sympathetic ex-wife, hard-ass cop.
3.What does your character like? Watching any detective movies she comes across, spending time with her mother and daughter, reading about unsolved cases especially those involving a serial killer.....
4. Dislike? Messy murder scenes, condescending superiors, nosy reporters, mysteries that remain no matter how much she pokes at it.
5. (For humans) Describe what abilities you see your character having if they were turned. Don't intend for Rene to be turned, least not any time soon.
6. What are your fears? Losing her daughter... that she won't be able to solve the mystery of why her ex-husband went crazy and murdered someone and in front of several witnesses no less, witnesses who to this day still can't explain exactly what happened
7. What is your character's strengths and weaknesses? Her mother's love and the love of her child.. leaving them behind in Las Vegas is torture for her but she prefers to keep them out of harm's way for now. For her, they are both a strength and a weakness.
Hobbies & Skills Once upon a time, she loved to go dancing. Lately it's been more listening to some techno while getting ready for work. Trained in the use of most firearms, can handle a blade if need be, has taken several martial arts classes over the years, along with police training on how to use deadly force. She can use a computer if she has to, but she's far from a hacker in any sense of the word.
Quirks and Habits worthy of mention She will wake up and exercise every morning, unless something really has her out of sorts from the night before. In that case, she's typically headed straight for the shower, then a making a beeline for work.
Personal History (Please be detailed, this creates your basis for your character)
Raised by a single mother, of course this tenacious beauty has attitude to spare. Noble Egyptian blood flows through her veins, even if her name and fiery red hair and temper appear to come from Irish descent. The name just happened to come with the now ex-husband. While working on a rather odd homicide case, the body got stolen from the coroner's office. Meanwhile her ex, also a cop who was supposed to be on leave, suddenly reappeared, as the prime suspect in yet another homicide committed right outside a local strip club. It appeared that he had gone insane, completely unable to respond to even simple questions. The case never made it to court. Billy O'Brian was sent to a hospital to be treated, but before the doctors could come close to resolving the issues, someone or something broke into the ward and stole Billy away. He hasn't been seen or heard from since. New mysteries began to unravel at an alarming rate around Rene after that. Fearing they may lose another good cop to some sort of breakdown, the bigwigs forced Rene to take a break. That had been a year ago and frankly she was sick of waiting around for them to decide she was fit for duty. The department shrink advised that perhaps a change of scenery might do her some good, so here she is, ready to dive back into her work with a vengeance in a new town.

1. A stranger at a bar offers your character a drink, what is a typical response? With a sarcastic little smirk, she accepts the drink and nods to the stranger. She turns back to the bar and continues whatever she was doing.
2. Your character finds a lost child alone on the streets. What do they do? If she can't find the parents right away, of course she takes the child back to the police department and turns her over to the proper channels.
3. A barfight erupts in the nightclub your character is in, what do they do? That would probably depend on whether she's on duty or off, and whether she really gives a damn at the time. If it involves someone she's trying to talk to or question, she's probably going to jump in with her badge in the air, and if that doesn't work, a quick shot at the ceiling usually calms things down quick enough. Of course, if that fails to grab their attention, she's also quite likely to jump into the fray herself.
