1. Describe your character's personality
Xerxes has a sharp wit and dry sense of humor that is typical of those that have seen hardship in life; he tends to speak little, tending to only voice things that are important. He prefers to remain unnoticed, watching from the edges, rather than being in the middle of things.
2. Describe how your character would appear to a stranger (I.E. typical dress, way they carry themselves etc.)
Most often, Xerxes dresses in comfortable and stylish dress attire, opting for simple and striking outfits. He nearly always has a laptop with him, and those tend to be the best models available (or not quite available). He favors black, and as such most of his outfits consist mostly of dark colors. He does, however, appreciate variety and so will wear bold colored ties or collared shirts to accent the outfit.
3.What does your character like?
A good challenge. He will oftentimes try and find the most difficult security system to hack, the most well guarded jewel to steal, etc. He also enjoys classical music, a good glass of wine, and a clean, simple environment. He considers himself a romantic and yet can never seem to keep a woman around for long.

Xerxes has a distaste for brute force, drunken foolery, and mistreatment of women.

6. What are your fears?
He fears, more than anything, becoming a part of traditional vampire culture. Doing so, he rationalizes, robs him of what little humanity he can cling to.
7. What is your character's strengths and weaknesses?
Favoring wit over force and finesse over strength, Xerxes is agile and quick and rational. He can keep his head cool in tough situations, and maintains a grace even when others are in a state of panic. On the other hand, however, he tends to take his time about most things, and has been known to let opportunity pass him by. Being neutral and independant in the vampire world has its benefits and shortcomings as well...

Personal History (Please be detailed, this creates your basis for your character)
Born in the 5th century BC (422 B.C.) during the height of the Persian Empire, Xerxes was the son of a regional king. Before the age of 10, however, his father had been disgraced by a rival noble and they had been stripped of their rank and land. Furthermore, his father was killed, presumably from poison, and his mother killed herself shortly thereafter. His only sibling, Vashti, therefore became his world. Only two years older than him, she provided for him as a mother would. She worked for money however she could, more often then not selling her beautiful body to nobles or other wealthy citizens. Years passed and the two managed to get by. Xerxes began theiving a bit, and soon learned to fight, as the streets or Miletus were hard.

One night, his sister returned from work, beaten and worn. Instantly concerned, Xerxes watched her all night and cared for her as her fever overcame her and she began going into convulsions. The next day, he was amazed to find her seemingly healthier than ever, although she would refuse to get any fresh air.

After some time of questioning her, he learned of the man who had bitten her the night before, whispering nothing more than, 'Now you are mine forever.' She told him of her dreams and visions, of her fear of daylight; That night, he vowed to kill the man responsibile for what had happened to his sister, and he left, using his underworld contacts and keen street sense to locate the man. He found him leaving a bar and dragging another woman on an arm.

Without warning, Xerxes flashed across the street, drew his scimitar and dagger and executed a quick strike at the man's throat and loin. Xerxes was the best swordsman on the streets and nobody had ever been fast enough to block both strikes. The fact that this man did without effort, the fact that he was unsurprised at the sudden attack, frightened Xerxes.

The fight took only a few seconds, although Xerxes will never forget it. He attacks were swift and deadly, however the man was unnaturally quick. When it was over, Xerxes lay in a pool of his own blood, left to die alone on the streets.

He nearly had, too. That was, until his sister came to his aid. She told him she could keep him alive, but would only do so if he desired. Struggling to stay conscious, and aware of the tears welling in her eyes, he agreed. He didn't know at the time that the tears were not tears mourning his imminent death, but tears fearing his decision.

Later, his sister was killed by a mob, convinced she has been stealing their animals and selling them. Little did they know she was in fact saving their very lives by feeding on their animals instead of them.

Xerxes left then, seeking out the vampire that started all this living hell for him.

After several years of adjusting to the sudden changes in his life; both being alone and becoming a vampire, Xerxes began to move across the globe, content in his seeming invulnerability that his relative youth gave him. However, Xerxes had enough wits about him to realize to nevre become to confident and never become too powerful, the two things that almost certainly would get him killed.

He couldn't have that. Not until the man paid for what he had done.

Years became decades and soon even centuries had passed. There were times Xerxes searching would take backseat to some other adventure or endevor, but always he would return in short enough time, scolding himself for his lack of discipline. And slowly a trail began to make itself known. A trail that lead to thevampire organization Anantya.

And so, Xerxes joine dthe clan, seeking shelter and acceptance as well as revenge. He found instead a strange diachotemy - one of love and hate. A love for a woman - Megan Björn; a hatred for his kin and their selfish and, ulitmately futil schemes for power.
