As he was getting ready to turn off the Strip and head toward the Domicile, Alec screeched to a halt, parking in the first place that he found, which happened to be the parking lot behind Radio Shack. Walking down the Strip a short spell, he turned into a blown art glass studio. He'd remembered that they had some very nice pieces when he was walking through here weeks ago, but hadn't come in...now he had a need.

As he looked around, he saw the item he had in mind was still available - it was a long, fluted vase with a spreading base done all in greens. The spiral base twined up in a very viney looking twist to its opening, where it splayed outward just a bit. At the time it had reminded Alec of the stem of some tropical flower...since he was unsure if Ginnie had a vase, he connected the two in his mind. Selecting an item for his own home, a hand done mirror in spiraling blacks and whites, he made his purchase, took the artist's card, and continued back to the Domicile.
